This is my second time eating here and I am less than impressed. The first time I had the jerk chicken. The jerk seasoning was great but the meat was very tough. The rice was over cooked, mushy and flavorless. Plantains were good.I ordered a beef patty as well and it seemed like it sat in the hotbox all day as it was Super dry. Second time I ordered the oxtails and was told that it’s a smaller portion and only comes with three but I could buy extra for $6 so I did. The extra came in a bowl. As you can tell by the picture the tails are running about $6 a piece. The whole plate just tasted earthy. No spice, no salt in the cabbage, tails or rice. The rice and peas are so dry it soaks up all the juices and is still dry. The oxtails were not fork tender and overall just lacked flavor and fell flat. Small but wonderful Jamaican restaurant near Clifton in Louisville. Fantastic food quality at very reasonable prices. Their seasoning is right on point, and the quality of the oxtail, rib tips, and jerk chicken is unmatched! The gravies, stews and Jamaican patties are just what Louisville has needed for the last 10 years. Don’t sleep on this place, they are going somewhere great!

When I tell you the rib tips was flavorful with the right amount of spice, which by the way was their own recipe, when I tell you it was amazing I’m not lying. It’s a small place and it wasn’t busy. They got the food out in a timely manner and they were sweet and amazing people. I highly recommend this place.

Stopped by on my lunch break and got take out…i had never had that type of food before so i decided to try it and i must say i am very glad i chose this place. Customer service was very polite and on point..I order the curry chicken with greens but they was out of greens so i decided to go with the cabbage as a side and i was not disappointed! I wish i would have ordered more because once it was gone then i was disappointed lol…i will definitely be back to this establishment as soon as possible
