I read so many great reviews so I wanted to try the place. However, my experience was not quite the best. I ordered the food at the restaurant for takeout and expected to wait but an hour is unacceptable.

Made reservations for 530pm and to celebrate my wife’s birthday we decided to dine here. The menu is very inviting with its list of Caribbean food. Trinidadian dishes. We ordered fish cakes, festival and French fries from appetizer. Waited over an hour for the entrees because the owner was under staffed and needed to run out and pick up her daughter from school because her husband failed to communicate with her on regards to their responsibilities as parents and completely unprofessional as business owners to leave patrons in your place of business. I should have left immediately but for the sake of not ruining my wife’s birthday we waited for the entrées and regretted it. Oxtail was not tender, it was chewy and left uneaten. Rice was over cooked mac and cheese noodles were over cooked. Rasta pasta noodles over cooked. Curry goat some pieces were tender some weren’t. Inconsistencies. Best thing we had were the fish cakes and guava juice they have here. Total for the night after 2 hours of the worst service I’ve ever received any where was 108.88 without even the slightest courtesy to knock the bill down. Downright disrespectful. I paid because Lord knows you’re going to need it more than I do. I pray you get it together owners. I received better service and food at Caribbean funerals than I did at your place of business. 108.88 for fish cakes and juice is not worth ever returning. Shame on you.

Whether you’re from out of town or local… look no further, this is the place to eat! First and foremost Jillian and Chris are beyond hospitable, great environment for family or friends to some of the best tasting cuisines from across the Caribbean. We were visiting from out of town and based on our Google search for Jamaican restaurant, came across Caribbean Cho and decided to visit. Not only did we dine that day, but we also came back the next day to ensure that we could get enough before leaving to head back home.

After I was laboring away with my yard, I worked up an appetite. I ordered the Cho salmon with Rasta Pasta and cabbage. It’s the perfect pairing, not too heavy. Fulfilling and nothing left on the plate! I will be back to try other items on the menu. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Don’t get me wrong the food was pretty good but when we received the receipt we were really disappointed. First, we were charged a dining fee which I have never heard of at all and it was $17.40. If we knew we would have to pay that much just to sit down and eat we would have taken it to go. Second they had us charge an extra $4 just because we wanted to pay with card. The last thing I would like to say is we got charged an extra $5 just for fries with the burger and we weren’t asked if we wanted fries but were charged $5 extra which I found crazy!! With all this said the food is good but all the fees we had to pay was very crazy.
