Food was bland I spent 43 dollars on Uber eats between the food and tips only to be disappointed on the food taste and the way they packaged the food. They did t seal the soda, leaving it vulnerable to anyone opening it and doing God knows what. They could have sealed it with tape or something to show if it was tampered with. I didn’t drink the soda I wasn’t comfortable with the way they didn’t seal it to make me feel safe when drinking it. As you can see this was I threw out pretty much everything

Terrible! I ordered ten empanadas . Nine nada beef and one spinach n feta . They sent ten spinach and feta. This is awful and careless as my son is vegan. When I called they be basically called me a liar. I have proof of the items.

Empanadas are often inconsistent, and underfilled around half the time with large air pockets. Sides are tasty, but drinks are marked up significantly, and in a few cases dishonestly. For example putting their store sticker over the Arizona ice tea can price so you can mark them up to 3 dollars.

Fairly priced lunch special but the empanadas didn’t have enough meat inside, in my opinion. They tasted great so if they had more meat I would have been happy with them. Rice and beans portion could have been larger as well.

My mom ordered 9 nada beef empanadas. But they sent 9 Spanish and feta empanadas in the nada beef pouches. I am vegan. When my mom called, Mary they said they made a mistake but after speaking with them for a longer time trying to resolve this Mary changes her mind and says that my mom claimed they sent the wrong ones and that the restaurant sent the right ones. Accusing her of lying. The kicker is that they have a whole BOOK of mistakes. A while back I called to see their vegan options and they said that the rice and beans is vegan but after calling again recently they said it isn’t. What if I had a food allergy? Also their plantains aren’t consistent. Here is PROOF of THEIR mistake!

Fantastic place with great options and large variety. Food was fantastic I had the mozzerala and plantain empanada lunch combo. Service is fantastic and quick. Reasonable prices as well. The lady who served was very nice and accommodating of my vegetarian needs

First and last time going to island empanada. Not only was their hair built into one of the empanada but they were all cold and the plantains tasted like they were made 3 days ago. I spent over $40 and it was extremely disappointing.
