Literally WOW! everything about this meal was amazing. I came here tonight to purchase dinner for my family and I was a little nervous because I’ve never eaten here before. There was a lady up front who brought our food out and presented us with complimentary drinks, freshly made! I have the oxtail, plantains, Mac & cheese and okra with the lemonade/sweet tea. This meal tasted like home, I couldn’t stop eating and with every bite it got better. My sister got the jerk chicken, rice and steamed veggies and they were also AMAZING. I’ve seen a lot of reviews where people say the chicken is dry but that was not our experience at all! Every bite had a burst of flavor. This is definitely my new fav downtown spot! Will be coming back a million times again

The curried goat is my fave dish and they prepare it well. Service is excellent and quick enough. Had coco bread and a vita malt with my meal. This place will be my go-to for my Caribbean food when I don’t feel like cooking.

We pass the place almost everyday. Today, I we decided to check it out. Great grab and go. We got curry chicken, jerk chicken, white rice, peas and rice, cabbage, mac cheese, and of course plantains. All of it was so good. The lady that took care of us was super nice. She recommended a really good hot sauce and gave us complimentary pine and ginger drinks (very yum). Looking forward to trying the other items on the menu. Sorry no food pics…we devoured the food before pics.

Take out only. The place looks like a storage shed on the inside. My order was wrong. Chicken dry, oxtails dry, I was not pleased with the food at all. I would not recommend this place. Nothing was exceptional. Well nothing was positively exceptional.

The food is so good! I’ve gotten curry and jerk chicken and both of them blew me away. The island tea and lemonade is delicious. The prices are super reasonable. I just wish they had some picnic tables or something so we could eat there but other than that I couldn’t ask for a better place!

This place was absolutely amazing! The main woman (Tanisha I hope spelled this correctly) was so nice and gave off the most positive vibes- took a minute to get our order of delicious coconut bread and Irish moss drinks so she threw in some freebies and just asked that we give them another try since we had to wait. Went the next morning for authentic corn meal porridge and a plantain porridge- holy cow so so so good

I saw this place was next to where I needed to go… I am so happy I stopped. I didn’t know that it was pick up only and I almost walked away. I am so glad I didn’t. The food was amazing. I had the curry chicken with cabbage,rice and veggies. My friend had the oxtail with okra and plantains. Loved it all

Mmm,mmm,mmm. The food here is so good! I had the goat, peas and rice, mac and cheese and plantains. The goat was packed with flavor, very tender. The sides were great. Everything is authentic, consistent, absolutely delicious. It’s good to know that you can’t dine in here. You can order ahead or at the window but it’s takeaway only.
