Updated review – I used to come here all the time. I don’t know what happened. I just had their legume. It was not good. They were quick with my order, though.

Customer service was good. However the food was horrible. Tasted reheated in the microwave and also plated badly.

This place leaves you waiting for food as if they still have to kill the food first. The one server they had stopped taking our order to take a phone order. Food didn’t even come out fresh

Fresh, tasty, sumptuous… cooked to order, just some of the descriptions for the food; friendly, courteous and family owned just some of the descriptions of the restaurant! I will be back.

My friend brought me here today and this place was the worst, you can’t even smell the food when you walk in & they gave us old piklis when my f triend asked for extra but the one that came with the food was fresh. Just Go to Cafe Creole Restaurant it’s less than 5 minutes away.

Since Covid-19 started this was the first time I saw my dad and I took him to this place. We really enjoyed ourselves and my dad absolutely loved the food, I loved mine also but my dads enjoyment was more important. The waitress was extremely friendly and attentive to us the food was fresh and came out quick. Oh and the place was clean and the staff wore their mask. Very Covid friendly.

About 4 years ago me, my hubby, and father ate here. It was not my first time eating here . I considered the food very good. It was the first time my dad and hubby ate here . I remember I went to the bathroom and it was so dirty . I did not pay it no mind. Then, I remember what my friend said who works in the restaurant, ” the bathroom reflects the kitchen.” With that said my husband ordered an Oxtail dish and there was a whole ROACH in the oxtail plate. At least it was not broken up in pieces. The tall guy just apologize and we did not have to pay for our food. But of course we never forgot. Needless to say we never went back.

Their foods could have been tastier with less salt. Its better if they leave the choice to the customers to add extra salt if desired.

Being Haitian myself, I’m a big proponent of supporting Haitian businesses and promoting positive things happening in our community. However, my experience at this restaurant left so much to be desired that my anger was only matched by absolute disappointment that we couldn’t do better than that. Because I was meeting with a pastor, I’m not against Haitian music, but I am against a woman in a two piece alternating between grinding on a man and burying her face in his lap. When we asked him to just change the video, the manager’s response was “it’ll be over soon.” I was floored. Truly speechless. And then I was seething. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I asked one of the ladies to let him that we needed to speak with him. He continued speaking with another young lady at a table, and we were never even acknowledged. With that, we decided to simply leave, but it took about 7-10 minutes to get a waitress to give us to go boxes and then find our bill, so that we could pay. So we alternated between service being non-existent or absolutely horrendous. Disappointing seems like an understatement to me.
