You are coming to this place because the food is real Jamaican food. I had the oxtail and the curry goat and it did not disappoint. The lady that looks like my mother even offered me dessert. If you want good Jamaican food in Macon, come to Island Pot. Enough said!!!!!

Usually the food is outstanding. But here recently the quality has gone down! I recently spent $108, they left out my Rasta pasta, the food tasted old, and the oxtail dinner was very bony!! I have never had oxtails to look like that!! And the taste was very questionable I could Not finish my meal! I Do Not believe I was served what I paid for – that meat wasn’t oxtails – it was too many bones and no shape – my guess it was beef neck bones passed off as oxtails – I will not be Returning

This place is amazing! I really wish I was in the area to come back. The jerk chicken was so flavorful and juicy. The best part was that even the sides were flavorful and not an after thought. I will absolutely be back if I’m in the area!

Delicious!!! Well seasoned as it should be. I travel for work and I generally love finding Jamaican restaurants and this taste pretty close to my grandma’s cooking. So no complaints just praise for a well cooked meal
