I am so happy this place opened. All the food is supa good! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. My favorites are the Kailua pig, Mochiko chicken and shoyu chicken! All the plates bring me back home to Hawaii. Must try!!

I ordered from here for the first time, and it was so good. I got the kalua pork plate- meat was tender and juicy, and the Mac salad and rice were perfect. The guys here were super friendly, and the food came out fast. Definitely going to come back to try more of their food!

This place is amazing! Some of the best Hawaiian food I’ve had here in Portland. The Mac salad is on point, the teriyaki chicken is grilled to perfection, and the service is fantastic. The owner, Steven, is very kind and seems to really care about his customers. If you’re looking for good fresh food without a long wait this is the place to be.

Just checked out Island Style Grill and absolutely loved this truck! It is located in The Yard at Montavilla which is one of the coolest pods in PDX (fire pits, live music, good bathrooms, ample parking nearby). The owner is very friendly, funny, and engaging. He let us try a few different kinds of food and each was really good. Ordered the BBQ teriyaki chicken and wow was it amazing. It came with coconut rice and very yummy Mac salad. I will for sure be back and hope this truck does well – he deserves it!

Ordered the Paniolo teriyaki BBQ chicken (which comes with rice & Mac salad) with extra Mac, of course, and it was fantastic. The chicken marinade was phenomenal, everything perfectly cooked, and if you’re craving that Hawaiian-style Mac…they nailed it. Super stoked to have such great island style food close by, and can’t wait to come back! Mahalo!
