Brought a large oxtail. 23 dollars. They put spinnas in it ok I’m cool with the butter beans .. but there was barely any meat . Rice n peas was bland .. (steamed no taste ). But back to the spinnas In oxtails, I mean honestly… really ? There beef patties are the only thing tasty to me so far . First time customer after passing this place for at least 10 years or more . I should’ve kept passing by.

Went here over the weekend & the food was not good. I ordered the soup & it tasted like left overs. I mean I love leftovers BUT within reason. I’m Jamaican & I know what dumplings taste like when they’re left over from the night before & it’s not tasty. It was just disappointing. The beef patties are also poor quality. I don’t know how these other people gave them 4 & 5 stars. This place was very low on the totem pole. They need to do better.

I was there at the restaurant yesterday for some Jerk chicken and It was my first time trying some Jamaican Food I thought to try out the Jerk Chicken(Grilled) as per my friends suggestion. In the jerk chicken, The chicken is supposed to be marinated by jerk sauce and then the chicken should be grilled thats the original way for cooking a jerk chicken, If you put Jerk sauce on steamed chciken, Thats not the authentic Jerk chicken dish, People who try Jamaican food and get this experience for the first time ain’t gonna have a good impression on the Jamaican food culture. The staff was good and welcoming but its the food that needs to be authentic and good at taste, instead of getting a not so fresh steamed chicken with topped jerk sauce if it was grilled jerk chciken It would wokd have been a good review.
