We walked here to eat on a Bachelorette weekend after doing the Brew Boat up the river. I got the Islander Salad and substituted the spicy chicken for ground beef. The side of guacamole was good. A little pricy in my opinion for what received but food and service were good.

Wish I tried this place sooner. Their food was delicious and made fresh right in front of you. I got a CHICKEN QUESADILLA & CHIPS. The quesadilla was delicious, very filling and full of flavor. The chips are seasoned and warm and go great with any dipping or on their own. I will return here often

Working in Wilmington, we decided to stop at the restaurant next door, but they were closed. We went in to Islands Fresh Mex and was very glad we did. Set up like an assembly line, food was excellent and prices were sane. Seating was a bit sparse. Enjoyed it so much, it was a go-to lunch spot for the rest of the work trip.

We put in an online order, when I arrived to get the food it had not been started. After letting them know who I was and which order I was there for, I continued to sit for a half hour before they even printed the ticket to start making my food. They handed me the bags tied shut, and when I got home we discovered that several items were missing.

Went in after 5pm and tried the $1 taco special requiring you to buy a drink at regular price. Got three soft tacos, two beef and one seasoned chicken. Hand made in front of you as you pick the toppings. Fresh ingredients and delicious salsas.
