The hostesses was welcoming and friendly. She was the perfect person for that job. She made me feel like like we were friends . We opted for the patio on this hot summer night. Sitting in the patio gave us the opportunity to enjoy the live music going going in the courtyard. Our waitress came over and got started with our drink orders. She came back very fast will our drinks and promptly took or dinner order. Our food was delivered just as fast as our drinks. The food was seasoned well and full of flavor. I had the fully stuffed tacos! Delicious . We received a proper portion of food for the price.

Very nice Island’s. Waaaayy better service than the Island’s on Center Drive. This location emits homey energy. Me and my fiancée came today and the place was so great. The service was excellent. It’s a lot smaller than the other locations but the service exceeded expectations. Thank you.

We love Islands, and this was our first time at this particular location. The food was great, our waitress was attentive and friendly. The location was kept clean throughout our visit. There was an incident I wanted to address, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Upon delivery of our appetizers, a burrito was placed in front of my fiancé by another employee. He ordered the burrito as his entree so I thought it was weird it would come with the appetizers. Turns out it was for the table next to us. Now my fiancé didn’t touch the burrito, and I don’t work in the food industry, but I would assume it’s standard protocol that once a plate is placed in front of a person by mistake, that the food would be discarded or be given the option to keep it. Well, the employee came back, asked my fiancé to remove the pineapple grind he had put on the plate, picked up the plate, and tried to deliver it to the other table! We were all shocked. The staff was apologetic to the other table, but I do hope they know how inappropriate it was. I don’t like wasting food either, but would never serve something that was already served to a complete stranger.

Oh, let me tell you about this fun energetic restaurant! It’s just the happiest place, and they had this young boy as a host who’s an absolute sweetheart. From the moment we walked in, he made us feel like part of the family. ☺️✅ His smile and manners were just so heartwarming, you know? And the food, oh my goodness, it was like a big warm hug on a plate. ❣️I couldn’t help but feel like I was at home, enjoying a homemade meal. This young host surely added that extra touch of warmth that made the whole experience even more delightful. It’s definitely a place where you can feel the love they put into everything they do. I will be back!

7/9/23 @ 5:00 pm on a Sunday not too busy. The server “served a long blond hair in my drink”. The drink was replaced but no apology or consideration offered from the manager…not acceptable. Had the chicken teriyaki bowl which was great.

Place was very busy and loud. Despite that we were treated very well our server was on top of her game and also very friendly. Our drinks were being refilled without asking. The food came out fast and hot. Mom had the chicken teriyaki burger which was so big she had to cut it up. Dad had the endless tortilla soup. We shared a basket of parmesan garlic fries. We highly recommend Island’s when you’re in the area.
