We stumbled upon this restaurant while taking a weekend golf trip to Tucson, and it turned into a great experience. We often look for Mediterranean fare while traveling to different cities, and this has definitely claimed the top spot! The kebabs, the clay pot, the rice, even the salad was fresh and delicious! Our dinner was so great that we decided to try the dessert, baklava and Turkish coffee, and that was the perfect finish to a wonderful meal! We will absolutely be back here whenever we come to Tucson!

The food is amazing here very authentic and the services terrific and our waiter had to deal with about 13 of us:-) also there was a nice generous portion and the ability to take a little bit home for the next day for a snack for lunch. Absolutely delicious basmati rice. The lamb was so tender in the stew and just the right amount they didn’t try to cheapen it with only a couple of pieces. Everything had great flavor. I think the Mediterranean side salad come in a bowl for mixing up the dressing A bit easier. We all will definitely be back.

Cute restaurant with good food. I got the falafel pita. It was a decent size for the price and overall the flavor was good. My only complaint about it would be that there were large chunks of onion in it that didn’t get spread out, so there were some bites of pure or mostly onion that were rather unpleasant. Otherwise, the food was good and the fries were some of the best I’ve had! Seasoned well, soft on the inside, and crispy on the outside. I also tried fries with hummus for the first time here, and that is an amazing combo! Would recommend

Tasty, flavourful food, generous portions, extensive menu, impeccable service – This hole in the wall Phoenix place would put better known restaurants in larger cities to shame! My favourite was the spicy chicken kebab carb friendly plate. We split it – it was so large! I wish other Mediterranean places did that too. The sautéed vegetables were so flavourful!! The rose they had went great with it as well! Well done, Istanbul staff and owners!

The restaurant has more like a pub/bar feel. The food was very similar to Opa Greek food (I understand this is Turkish) but better. The ingredients were definitely fresh. Platters are pricey but well served.

Delicious falafel and generous portions. Spanakopita dough was a bit undercooked and chewy. Ask for a side of the spicy sauce – it makes the meal. Side salad with feta was very good, too. Service was friendly but not totally attentive.
