Twenty years ago, I was a regular customer of Italian Sensation in Belair. So when I was passing this Italian Sensation at lunch time, I decided to stop in for my favorite dish at pizza and sub shops, eggplant parm sub without the bread. It was just as good as as I remembered it from twenty years ago. Often, when I come back to a place from my younger days, it doesn’t measure up to my fond memories. This place is just as good as I had hoped it would be.

Calamari was done perfectly. Crab ravioli and buffalo chicken pizza and spaghetti w/meatballs were good. The bread on the tuscany chicken was burnt. Antipasto salad was average.

Another great order from Italian Sensation! Food was fresh and hot. Pizza had the perfect amount of crisp on the bottom but still soft. Calzones here always have the right amount of ricotta. So good!

The Siciliana is the worst pizza I’ve ever ate. For a deep dish, there’s not enough sauce and the bread is too thick. I also think it’s overpriced. Fortunately, I ordered the Baltimore and it was good. This was my first time here and I’m not impressed.

Pathetic meatball sub and customer service! I have ordered a meatball sub numerous times from this place. They give 3 meatballs, but they are large enough to fill the roll. What I got were small meatball, very little sauce and the cheese not all the way melted. I called and was told the manager not there and nothing they could do. What waste at $12 plus delivery fees. I will think twice ordering from here again. Maybe stick with the cheesesteaks or pizza. Note, i have a pic to post but Google doesn’t allow it. Will post this review in another place too.
