Just staying in the area for the night and needed something to grab for dinner. We were gonna take it to go but ended up sitting at an outside table and just enjoying it there! We got a ham and cheese sub and cheese pizza – both delicious!

You would expect better food for 30.00 the chicken & dumplings weren’t done and so dry. The fries were very cold and hard. The meatball parmesan was cold and the bread was hard. Ended up feeding the whole meal to animals outside.

I grew up in Tazewell & Italian Village was the place to go on the weekend with friends. I came into town & I wanted to go somewhere that was not crowded bc of covid precautions. My dad suggested the location for Italian Village. I was rather surprised at the store front. It was fun & inviting. When I entered I noticed the floors were extremely clean & it was spacious and very well lit. The atmosphere was spot on. I appreciated the large board with the food choices with prices. I also noticed behind the counter how immaculately clean it was. Hand scooped ice-cream is available, which was very tempting. We ordered our food, they give you a number then call out your number for each item that is ready. Not quite use to this but it was nice to get hot fresh food. My dad & I were able to sit in a section with no other patrons which made me feel comfortable. Salad was large & good amount of toppings. I got the chicken parmesan with spaghetti & garlic bread. I really didn’t like the sauce & wasn’t crazy about the garlic bread. I brought thus to the attention of the cook. She happily without reluctancy fixed the issue. She was apologetic & so kind with such a lovely smile. I got the calzone which was amazingly good. We were graciously presented with mini cheesecake which was quite delicious. I was extremely impressed by the cleanliness of the restroom. Everything was hands free & well stocked.

The lasagna is $15/ea. but trust me it’s WORTH IT! The size of it fills the entire plate. Also the flavor is amazing. At first I was hesitant until I saw the size of the plate. They also give you a huge salad on the side that you can eat first before they finish making your lasagna. Never will I again hesitate to throw down money for their food again.

Pizza was burned on the bottom and tasted burnt. “Worst pizza purchased there.” Other foods and ice cream was delicious. Husband did not complain to me until after we’d left the restaurant.

We sat outside because we had the puppy with us and the staff was so wonderful and thoughtful of the puppy! The food was delicious as always but they went above and beyond what they had to do! We appreciated it so much!!!

My family wanted to eat here and I called in our food, when my husband pulled up to the pickup window, the lady said $60. We were absolutely floored at the expense of our food. Not to mention, they have changed their deep fried pickles spears. They were awesome in the past and now they have a spice to them and is not appetizing. My children would eat and eat on these before and now they will not touch them.
