This place was delicious, I’ll admit though that I was disappointed at my spinach ravioli being such a small dish compared to their other dishes including their lobster ravioli. I unfortunately did not get filled up by dish, but their other dinner portions were large. Besides that, the food tasted amazing. Their gnocchi was one of the best gnocchi I’ve ever had too. I definitely recommend checking this place out.

We enjoyed a wonderful four course wine pairing special event and it was delicious! One of the courses was mortadella filled with ricotta that you dipped in a balsamic glaze and I can’t wait to eat it again – something so simple but so good and it paired great with a Pinot Grigio. Federico and his staff were amazing we will definitely be coming back again especially for the pistachio cake and torta della nonna which we took home to eat later!

Did not have high expectations as it half empty on a busy Saturday evening. The food was tasty and did not disappoint. The service was atrocious for a place that charges premium rates. Also a note to everyone to ask for the price of the specials menu, it could be twice or thrice as much as a regular dish and it is not displayed anywhere.

The cutest most authentic Italian restaurant in St Pete’s! Incredible service, the staff is amazing, and the owner Federico is the best. The pasta is freshly made and the flavors are unreal! We got the specialty pasta – incredible cacio e pepe – and then the seafood risotto. So so good! Don’t pass this one up!

Oh my gosh!!!!!! I can’t wait to tell everyone I know about this amazing authentic Italian food!! I grew up in an Italian Immigrant household, my father from Rome, mother from Naples…this food tastes like HOME! Everything was absolutely incredible. I was born and raised in NY, with family on Arthur Ave..so finding real Italian food in Saint Pete is harder than one would think. Can’t tell you how many times id drag my fiancé to an Italian spot and be disappointed. But Italy Bottega is THE BEST!!!! Federico, the owner, was absolutely incredible. Lydia (sorry if mispelling!), our hostess/waitress was beyond kind. I see people talking about pricing but i was truly shocked at how well everything is priced. We pay almost double at every other italian restaurant we’ve been at. Can’t wait to be regulars, so excited to taste the whole menu!!!!!!

One of the best Italian foods we’ve ever had. We had the ravioli and the shrimp and we were in heaven. The complimentary bread and the pistachio cake were also excellent and we loved meeting the owner, Federico. Great location on Central, nice to walk around. The vintage art inside is fun to check out.

An absolute gem hidden in plain site! Having lived in Kenwood in the past we’d driven by this spot too many times to count and never stopped. Don’t drive by! Stop, order, enjoy! The atmosphere is low key but don’t let that fool you into thinking it’s some kind of pizza joint. For one, there’s no pizza on the main menu. But second, it’s the specials you need to go for. The specials are phenomenal. Home made pasta and other dishes, interesting and delicious combinations. I had a pear and gorgonzola ravioli with a creamy cherry sauce… (yes creamy cherry!) and it was as if I were transported to Italy. My husband had a sausage and broccoli ravioli that might have been my favorite but it’s too hard to choose. I can’t leave out the staff experience – lovely wait staff who are attentive and friendly and know how great the food is! Visit Italy Bottega and order a special. You will thank yourself later.
