Some of the best Italian food I’ve had!

We had to order our salads twice, and it took an hour to get our actual meals. The complimentary bread is delicious. The salad was bitter. We were not impressed with our entrees. Her’s was a bit bland and the chicken had a weird texture. I paid $14 for five small barely warm cheese raviolis. We won’t be back.

Atmosphere and people serving are great. Food was just so so. The calamari was rubbery. The salad had too much dressing and the pasta was not special. This was our 2nd time here. Nice place but not worth the price.

Top restaurant in Saline County. This is one of the best Italian restaurants in central Arkansas. Italy in Town got a new Chef at the beginning of the year and the menu is fantastic. Their specials are amazing. Tonight I had blackened salmon in lobster sauce topped with four shrimp. The sides were sautéed veggies (yum because cooked perfectly) and delicious mashed potatoes. The salmon was cooked perfectly and had a good seared crust. You have got to try this restaurant. The wait staff is kind, friendly and attentive. Love this white table cloth restaurant.

Excellent food! Had the ribeye special with asparagus and mashed potatoes. The ribeye steak was a top notch cut, lots of marbling with only one large spot of fat. I ordered it medium rare and it was cooked perfectly! The cognac pepper corn sauce drizzled over it was a flavorful addition. The only complaint on the sauce was it had slightly too many pepper corn for my personal taste, but is still worth it! The mashed potatoes were perfect! Made from scatch, with small tidbits of potatoe, had a touch a garlic and butter. The asparagus looked to be broiled slightly soft but with still some crunch, cooked perfectly! The service was top notch, curtious and prompt. Prices were reasonable, but not overly high, a deal or bargin. Only real downer is the atmosphere, it was candle light dim in most of the restaurant, slightly better where I sat near the front window.

I always love eating at Italy in Town. The owner/chef Chico, is always adding new things to the menu, but the classic authentic favorites are there too. This is a great intimate place to meet friends or have a date.

Visiting family in town and so glad we got to visit this great restaurant! I think we each ordered something different so we could try each other’s dinner. Everything was great! Good and friendly service. They were working hard on a Saturday night with limited staff. Don’t think twice… just go!

It’s.. ok. The place looks exquisite and the atmosphere was just what you expect out of an Italian restaurant. The prices are a tad bit high for what you get – portion to price. I ordered the spaghetti chitarra at $16.75 and my wife had the penne arrabiata. They give you a side of bread with pesto that comes with the meals. The pasta tasted like it was missing something as in spices. The noodles seemed overcooked but still tasty with the mushroom and cheese. Would I come back? Sure, I’ll always give something a second try but, it would have to be a day when I am really craving Italian.
