My partner and I had such a wonderful experience here. The food was incredible & we so appreciated the service. Manny was our waiter and he walked us through the menu and advised us based on our tastes and desires to such a spectacular degree. We went right at 5, when they open, and received really intimate and personal attention from the staff. Manny made what we anticipated to be an intimidating experience feel so comfortable and relaxed. The prices were high but for good reason. Each dish was made with so much love and care. This was a meal I’ll be thinking about for a really long time. They did NOT pressure us into making a review but I feel compelled to based on what a wonderful time we had.

The perfect place to grab lunch in Design District. Unpretentious, great food quality, interesting dishes, and fun to watch them prepare the food (at the bar inside).

Currently eating at a Nikkei restaurant that ISN’T Itamae and it’s making me sad wishing I was at Itamae instead. Genuinely one of the best meals I’ve ever had.

we had a wonderful and adventurous meal at Itamae. we sit at the Chef’s Counter and we had close interactions with the Chef and the wait staff. The servers were very attentive, professional and knowledgable about the ingredients, the tastes and how they prep the food. We were awed by the contrast of the texture, the freshness of the fish, the surprised sensation of the flavors, and the beautiful presentation. Overall it was a great experience!

Innovative while still upholding the essence of Japanese sushi. We were impressed with the food and service. Our only criticism would be the aged tuna tartare. It was too minced that we couldn’t appreciate the aging process that may have went behind it. Also too runny to actually stick in floppy seaweed paper. But at least it still packed a flavor punch! Definitely end your meal with dessert! One of the best desserts I’ve had

Very good service, except for the fact that you have to seat outside and are prone to Miami weather changes. Crowd and music from surrounding places may disturb the experience.

Have dined here a few times, and it’s always a treat. The tiraditos are beautiful and experiment with unique flavors, but the real stars and best value items (in my opinion) are the daily catches.

Great take on Japanese and Perivian fusion. Staff is very friendly and both indoor and outdoor worth seating. I would be cautious with the large portion size. Order less and reorder if needed, ceviches are HUGE! Wine are good although likes US wines.
