I am so happy to say that my old favorite ice cream parlor is still wonderful! I have been going to Itgen’s for over 30 years but hadn’t been there since before the Covid pandemic. I knew the original owners had sold it, and I was very skeptical about returning. My family and I always talk about how great their food and, of course, ice cream always was so we decided to give them another try. We are so glad we did! My Country Style Cheeseburger was homemade and delicious, and they still use the best pickles I’ve ever tasted. Of course we all went for dessert, and the ice cream was so good, with the best hot fudge and fresh whipped cream. Grace and her family were so friendly and attentive, and she even thanked my son for requesting Disco Fries. They weren’t on the menu but Grace had them made to order and said she would add them to their new menu. While I do miss the retro decor of Itgen’s, and maybe they can add some personal touches to that, I will definitely bring my family back again!

Went for ice cream and it was so worth it! Portions were large, ice cream was so good (especially the hot fudge), prices were very low. Service was very attentive. Seating was a little cramped/small tables but it is an older restaurant. Very clean.
