From the moment we entered the restaurant to the time we left after paying our bill, our experience was outstanding!!! We were welcomed promptly and courteously. We were seated at a table just inside the main dining area with a view of the lake. The food ( appetizer, entrees, and dessert) was all excellent! We would definitely recommend It’s a Matter of Taste and will go again. We were very well served by Annelise and Olivia.

The Lamb dish is the Bomb!!. Oh yeah the other stuff on the menu is good also.. The lake view is spectacular come early if your love 50, after about 630pm it becomes date nights with a love birds nest view.

We give up on this place for good. Call them & they don’t take reservations. Drive 45 minutes to dine in with friends & meet this arrogant man at the front desk who refuses to give us a table, saying he has no place for us. Was it preferential treatment I wonder. We saw quite a few empty tables. At least the man at the check in could be a little less arrogant. Not planning on going there ever again. Totally fed up as we have tried to get reservations for months.

We went for dinner and they ran out of entree we were mist looking forward to along with another that sounded amazing. I got a steak and my partner perch – they were both good. Loved the carrot cake! But service was poor. Took over 15min for someone to even acknowledge us at hostess stand. Not checked on often enough for drink refills and my water glass sat empty half tje time we were there. Took a long time to get drinks when ordered. Asked for extra bread and it was never brought. Hopefully it was an off night & will be better next time.

Overall great dining experience. Food was outstanding. A bit of a long wait (but understandable). Seems understaffed for waiter/waitresses (they were hurried and had a hard time keeping up with their tables.

When we arrived, we were greeted by two pleasant hostesses and promptly seated on the patio per our request. Our server Ashley was the absolute best. She was very attentive and ensured we were doing well during our meal there. The salmon cakes appetizer was delicious with just the right amount of seasonings. Our entrées were served at the appropriate temperature and portions were generous. The meal was finished by enjoying a tasteful key lime raspberry tarte. The was a memorable celebration for our wedding anniversary ❤️
