Stumbled across this place while visiting family, and saw that there were grits on the menu. That was enough for us to give it a chance, and we don’t regret it at all. The food is amazing, and feels like someones grandma’s in the back cooking Sunday breakfast. Big portion sizes too!

Located in Linden on St. Georges Ave over the Dunkin, if you didn’t know it was there, you would pass it. It’s almost non descript, but once you head upstairs, you know you’re there. A spacious venue with pleasant staff. The food was delicious! They have several flavors of lemonade and smoothies. I had the brioche French toast with strawberries, cheese eggs, and beef bacon. My daughter had the turkey sausage with cheese eggs, and my niece had a dish called Messy eggs, I think. It was an egg scramble with toast. The wait time for the food was a while, but it’s made to order, so I get it. Decently priced with good food. I’d definitely go back!

Maraj (our host and server) and Lisa (owner) are awesome!!! The Breakfast Lounge just opened in April 2023! At night, this is actually an event space but for Brunch it transforms into a very relaxing atmosphere. Not only is the mass music on Sunday and table service excellent but the food is delicious! The goal is to provide a home cooked southern hospitality meal! Please come and support this incredible local business!

The food was amazing! Fresh, hot, and flavorful. The vibe is chill…the staff is welcoming and friendly. It was refreshing to have pork-free options! The Soul Grits with Catfish is spectacular! The owner came and spoke to my husband and I and she exudes a warmness that is missing in this city! We will be back!

Searched google for breakfast near me and this place popped up. I never heard of the place so it was a must try after my craving for fish and grits. Let me tell you I’m so glad I tried this place out because the fish and grits was some of the best I’ve had in my life! I had to ask the cook (Lisa) if she was from the south! Plentiful, seasoned to perfection , and affordable. I will definitely be back!

Have to say that I was loving my decision of coming here today. The food is so delicious, I ordered the chicken and Belgian waffle with a side of bacon and the peach-mango lemonade my daughter and I (3yrs old) did not leave a crumb. Coming back to try the other plates in the menu. Thank you to Lisa who came to not only my table but everyone else’s asking us about our dinning experience.

This was my first time coming and everyone was so nice, especially the co-owner, Ms Lisa! The food was delicious, especially the soul grits and shrimp. The music was on point also. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend!
