I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience here. I got the mushroom pizza and whew it was good. The sauce had some nice acidity and tasted fresh and simple. It was quite light and wasn’t at all pasty, more like a crushed tomato sauce. The mozzarella had a great melt, pull and went so well with the sauce. The mushrooms, oh they don’t SKIMP on these mushrooms. For the people that are sick and tired of mushrooms being undercooked on pizza, this place cuts them thinly so that they cook perfectly in that oven, actually soaking up some of the oil from the mozzarella (may sound odd but it’s delicious). The real star of the show was the crust, it was soft and chewy and the bake was perfect with just a bit of char. The middle gets a bit soft and sog in the middle with so many mushrooms on the pizza but it doesn’t detract from the great pizza.

Best pizzeria in Madison! Delicious food, fresh ingredients, wonderful staff. Years ago, a friend taught me about the importance of supporting locally owned restaurants in a community. It’s more than just a place to get some calories, it’s a place to connect with your neighbors and have a unique food experience. My friend would love this place. It’s Good For You is a wonderful addition to the fabric of the Madison community, and I can’t wait to go back.

Exceptional ingredients that make for quite the authentic pizza! We have ordered multiple times and have been impressed with the unique pairings and creativity of the special pizza of the week. The pizza I ordered was really good. It might have been a five-star, but as you can see in the picture, it must have been dropped into the box and they forgot to cut it. It was not the easiest thing to eat at a hotel with no way to cut it and no napkins.

I love trying the weekly specials. Always something new and delicious. Really nice patio area to chill in while the pies are cooking or sit inside in the air conditioning. We sipped on the housemade limoncello while we waited. Great addition to the north side!

This is the BEST pizza I’ve ever had in my entire life. Not just the best wood-fired oven pizza, not just the best mushroom pizza, but quite literally The Best Pizza I Have Ever Had (and very likely Will Have) In My Entire Life. First off, the dough is crazy. CRAZY! Impeccably chewy. I am literally typing this on the bus back home after having eaten here 10 minutes ago because something this good needs to be appreciated when my memory is fresh. Anyway, back to the dough. The pizza crust is crazy, y’all. It’s super chewy, it’s bouncy, and it has its own distinct flavor that goes oh so well with the sauce and the cheese and the toppings and everything else. The sauce. THE SAUCE! Gosh where do I start with the sauce. It’s perfectly tomato-y and fresh and refreshing and yummy and well-seasoned and just the most perfect addition that complements the cheese. I ordered the mushroom pizza with extra mushrooms and extra sauce, and it was the best decision ever. Their mushrooms are prepared in the most perfect way, by the way. I’ve never seen such nice, thinly sliced mushroom pieces that were also seasoned perfectly. And I know I keep using the word perfectly in every sentence but it cannot be said ENOUGH! I hate it when you order mushrooms on pizza and the entire pizza comes out soggy because the mushrooms were not cooked thoroughly, but that was definitely NOT the case here. Even with the addition of extra mushrooms, I felt that the pizza was perfectly balanced between dough : sauce : cheese : toppings. Which meant the absolute flavor explosion and harmony of textures that took place in my mouth was enough to send me to heaven about three thousand times in the span of two minutes.

I ordered the Sicilian speciality pizza for pick up, and it was fabulous! The crust was slightly crispy but the pizza was still doughy. The toppings were also amazing! They have a wonderful owner and friendly staff as well, so I definitely will be back for more

If you are a fan of Neapolitan style pizza (soft/chewy crust) then this is the pizza joint for you. Ordering from their website was easy and my pickup time was accurate. The House and Caesar salads were also very tasty additions to our order. We ordered the Margherita, Pizza Romana, and a cheese pizzas. I ordered my cheese pizza well done to get a little more crisp, but I think I’ll try “extra well done” next time and see if that pushes it over the edge. Highly recommend giving It’s Good For You a try. We will definitely be ordering again.

Ordered online yesterday and the online ordering process was super easy. I had one of their speciality pizzas and it was delicious!! It was a very unique pizza. Their calzone was amazing as well. They are very generous with the pizza toppings. Their ingredients are very high quality as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful with answering any questions i had. I will definitely order again!
