Staff is friendly. Usually clean inside. The sauce pump stations often run low or out. Can be pricey for a quick chain establishment. Food is always cooked when ordered so always hot.

I’ve been going to Ivars at 148th and 99 from since at least January 2014. I have had a lot of fond memories going here. The food was, for a seafood bar, excellent in taste and quality. I’ve gone here alone, celebrating my own victories, celebrating my freedoms, and came here with my mother as well. Having not frequent for two years, I had only recently came back, and learnt that this place is going out of business. Heartbroken to say the least of it all.

I was born and raised in Seattle. I love everything Ivar’s. But this location is somewhat creepy? It may not be the location as much as as his the employees and the ambiance. I’m not the only one to notice that there is an undiscribul & unscrupulous vibe from this store & it’ staff.

The only thing that would have made this better is if they had more options for dinners. All the food they had was fried except for a grilled salmon and a grilled halibut dinner or Caesar salad. I had the Halibut dinner and it was excellent.

The Edmonds location is very close to my home, and I AM a fjsh person, but I will no longer dine in at this location, or any other of the fasf food locations if they continue to have a policy of “NO HORSERADISH”! Cocktail sauce is made with horseradish everywhere I have ever been but this place that attempts to pass some concoction of catsup and pepped sauce as Cocktail Sauce. If this is the corporate policy, I wish you well, and I know that my added business will never be missed, but IVAR’S fine dining locations have the product, which tells me they are not that concerned with pleasing customers in the smaller (but still expensive) locations.
