My partner and I came in for dessert and were delighted by the friendly staff, gorgeous decor, and delicious carrot cake. This was the best carrot cake either of us have ever had! It was the cake of the day so not a permanent menu item, but all of the dessert options looked great. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself was incredible — relaxing and romantic, with great music.

Wow, just wow. If you take anyone there for dinner, you better be dating them. I’m talking candlelight dinner, wine, and great food. All muah ❤️

Not sure what the one star reviews are talking about; we’ve been several times over the past year and the food and service have always been great. We have really enjoyed the place and are glad that there is another fine dining option in downtown Cruz.

First time there with two friends for dinner. Very friendly and sat inside but next to the patio. Wonderful brussel sprouts and crab cakes for appetizers. Delicious! Then we shared the short ribs, raviolis and the chicken piccata. Short ribs melted in our mouths, raviolis with homemade red sauce ( as good as my grandmothers) and chicks piccata tasty! All portions large! Waitperson kept an eye out for us and was always there with water.

Nice having Iveta downtown! We had the breakfast sandwich and a BLT, both excellent. They came with side salads that were good but way too lightly dressed. Fantastic mimosa. Going to be a real weekend spot when the weather gets nicer!

Place was empty because it’s a Thursday night but staff was friendly and very fast service all around. Food was great, good dessert and pasta. Overall a great place and i hope they get the business they deserve in the future

We ate here yesterday on Sunday. Place was kind of busy with large groups outside but the food took a very long time to come out. Also they say it’s airline chicken breast but it wasn’t. It was skinless chicken breast and was dry and rubbery so not sure if it was old or just not good quality chicken. We will not be coming back to this place even after reading all these good reviews. There was a lot of yelling in the kitchen by a female not sure if she was the chef but she seemed very irritated and unprofessional. Not sure if other people reviewing are just friends but this is not as good as advertised. The Brussels sprouts and burrata were great though that’s why I gave it two stars. Plated well and good flavors.

I been to this restaurant a few times. The service is really great every time I been here. Darlene and the team really know how to make people feel comfortable. I give it a one star because the quality of food, flavor and plating wise have gone down every time. The menu has changed every time I have been here and not for the better. The first visit was great. We had the risotto and mushroom, ribeye and mash potatoes, and the Brussels sprouts. All was good. The 2nd time we came in they had a the short rib, which was really good with a nice parsnip puree, the “seared airline breast” was not what it was described. It was a boneless chicken that didn’t taste good. Even with a sear without the skin it is almost pointless. The last time we been here it was absolutely horrible. Im not sure what they are doing with he menu but if you are going to keep changing the menu please make it better. This is going to turn to another place in Santa Cruz that people just go to once. It’s sad because after reading articles written about it and the hype buildup I expected something unique. Not another sandwich and salad lunch spot. Santa Cruz deserves better.

We had a very nice, relaxing dinner here nice quiet ambiance, my dish was chicken piccata good but would have been better with polenta I think, my husband had short ribs with polenta and it looked good. I had a yummy cherry soda and dessert chocolate brownie with strawberry gelato so good.
