First time guest and the food was good! The service was good! The only issue is they have the music playing so loud you feel like you’re in a night club. I’m 27, so it’s not like I’m just an old person complaining about the noise. I literally could not have a conversation with my table of 5… We ate as fast as possible to get out of there but like I said the food was good.

Excellent brunch at the bar with my wife. Kevin was a great, cordial, professional bartender. The guacamole was one of the best we’ve had. Same with the chilaquiles (both with and without the side of pork I added) and the huevos rancheros. Size-able portions. Great mezcal margaritas and mezcal palomas. Will be back for happy hour and dinner. (Just wondering why it’s not very crowded. There are a few negative reviews, but most of those were written by people who complain about prices and menu options that everyone can see on-line before walking in. We hope IXTA does well. It’s a great addition to the neighborhood.)

Went in to get a couple drinks before dinner at another bar. Randomly walked into this place and pleasantly surprised we did! The bar is aesthetically pleasing and the drinks we had were great. Definitely want to come back and try the food Next!

I have given three stars for food as it being a oaxacan restauravt we had better food in Oaxaca ! I am vegetarian and when we visited oaxaca the town the vegan / vegetarian food was amazing and plenty of choices but here we had two options and again fried ! Why do restaurants think that vegetarian food needs to be fried I see this trend anytime I visit vegan markets everything is fried ! Honestly you guys can do better the vegetarian food needs a big haul now you will say why come to place which is heavy on meat ! But when I visited oaxaca it’s vegan capital for food it’s was just unbelievable food so thought would visit you .love the ambience and the vibe maybe wil come for drinks or hang at bar but nyc has so many restaurants that a second time would be only possible if the food was amazing . The guac also tasted like frozen not fresh for all the prices of the dish it’s not worth it cause it did not taste fresh even the potato were fried too much fried not for me !

Stunning space with fantastic food. The music is loud, but I get that the target market for this place likes it that way and I’m just old. The mole was unbelievably good. I’ll be dreaming about it for days. The queso was excellent as well. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

The food was soooo good! We couldn’t get enough of it! If it were socially acceptable to lick the plates, we would have! The service was also fantastic! Our server was attentive and gave us great suggestions from the menu! I went on a Monday night so it was quiet in the back but still very lively by the bar.

I recently visited IXTA and was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, inviting, very cozy atmosphere. The decor is stylish and modern, with a touch of Mexican — more Tulum-like — charm. LOTS of greens, sensual lighting, and the general vibe is intimate. A wonderful option for a romantic evening or a night out with friends.

We love mezcal so wanted to check this place out. Def fun has tulun vibes, tons of mezcal options. Service is great. Jean Pierre the manager was very personable & made us curated drinks based on our tasting notes, very yummy! Extremely Plesant to deal with & exactly how customer service should be at restaurants which has been lacking lately at many!
