We hired Iyad’s Syrian Grill as the caterers for our wedding and they were phenomenal! I highly recommend them for anyone planning a special event. Wow.. I mean, wow. We came here because of all the positive reviews and the reviews are spot on if not underselling the flavor! You might miss the spot if your not following GPS but there is plenty of outdoor space for eating. As everyone has said, the guy is super friendly and he can COOK.

Delicious lunch spot, open on Mondays! We had the chicken shawarma sandwich, Aleppo veggie plate, and baklava. The chicken was very yummy but the plate was my favorite! I loved all the variety of flavors in every corner of my box, especially the babaganush.

DELICIOUS! After not eating while traveling, THIS was the place that I broke my fast with, and it was insanely good. I’ve never seen a cook in a chef coat at a food cart, but now I understand why. This man cooks with love, and you can taste it (not to mention his incredible story of coming to the US). Perfectly succulent chicken shawarma, delicious sauces (the pomegranate sauce was awesome), and a very filling meal, even for a big dude like me. Worth every penny and more – Don’t miss this on Vashon!

Iyad is a hard worker, making jumbo sized gyros that test the strength of their wraps. There is no skimping on meats here, and he stuffs each to the max with lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles. These gyros are so large that he cannot actually fit them into the container as is and must cut them in half. Topped with his homemade sauces (don’t skimp on the hot sauce! It’s more than just heat), the lamb is tender and rich with juice, evidence of a long marination. Iyad also grills the wrap, to make sure you don’t miss out on any of that delicious grease.

Delicious food! We came from CA to Vashon for my son’s wedding and I was hosting the rehearsal dinner. We chose Iyads Syrian Grill to cater the event and it was perfect! Safa was so easy to work with and she promptly responded to my emails and answered all my questions. Iyad brought the food and set up beautiful copper chafing dishes. The presentation was lovely and made the dinner feel elegant and special. We had lamb gyros and chicken schwarma and it was so delicious that everyone went back for seconds and kept talking about the yummy food. I would highly recommend Iyads Syrian Grill. You won’t be disappointed.
