Saw the 4.9 star review so we decided to try it. The fish tasted very fresh. We tried everything from the Tempura to Jooas favorites of the Eel Feast. Everything was very good. The salad that you get to start the meal has wonderful fresh greens and a lovely salad dressing. Loved it all!!!

I’ve gone here a few times now. The food is well prepared and super reasonably priced. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The bartender/server with the short (almost buzzed) hair is always very inviting.

This was our 1st time dinning here and my husband and i will most definitely be returning in the near future! We moved here less than 2 yrs ago from a state that has a lot of authentic ramen/sushi and have struggled to find anything here in FC that could come close to the quality and taste we were accustomed to. This place so far is the BEST we have found in FC (a little hidden gem)! Food was very fresh, flavorful and well priced. Also the staff is very friendly and went over and above to make a food order mistake right. Even the drinks were amazing and one was even complimentary which is a “pallet cleanser” and made fresh by the manager Nolan himself. Overall wonderful food, drinks and experience, we most definitely will be returning hungry for more!

Took my husband here for his birthday and, although I’m not the biggest sushi fan, we both had an incredible time! Perfect for your sushi lover and options for those that go for the company. Staff was incredibly kind and we were SO shocked by how quickly the food came out. My husband even said this is his favorite spot now- so we will definitely be back. There was parking in the back which made accessing this place even better! I had the beef teriyaki and it was really great!

This place is amazing. The sushi was absolutely delicious, with large pieces of fresh fish and amazing flavors. One roll even came with real wasabi! The garlic edamame were to die for, as were the cocktails. Great atmosphere. Pics of tropical roll, Vegas roll, tuna tataki roll (w/ real wasabi), garlic edamame and the restaurant after the rush (it was packed!) Highly recommend.

Delicious food from start to finish. Server was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. Surprisingly casual feel to the place given the quality of the food, very comfortable. Our party of two adults and three teenage girls highly enjoyed themselves. Would definitely seek out again!

If you’re looking for an amazing local establishment to fill your cravings for sushi, look no further than Izakaya Jooa! The service from all the staff, especially Carolena, was excellent. She suggested that we get her favorite roll, the Tropical roll and it definitely did not disappoint. Every night after 8pm, all rolls and specialty rolls are HALF OFF!!! That deal alone makes it worth your visit! The sushi that was served was most definitely the best tasting in all of Northern Colorado! From what I can recall, they have just recently reopened after finding a chef and the presentation of the dishes and quality of ingredients makes this restaurant very, very easy to recommend. I will be making Izakaya Jooa my number one sushi restaurant!

I just left here, and all I can say is what an amazing surprise. I didn’t know what to expect, but this was hands down the best sushi I have had in a long time. The staff was great, and the food was amazing. One of the rolls I had was the tropical roll (see picture). So so good.
