After 3 wonderful evenings spent with Maddi and Paul, I cannot recommend Izakaya enough. Paul puts so much thought and detail into every single bite while Maddi shows off her expert drink making skills. What an unforgettable and perfectly delicious experience.

First, disregard the 1 star review and enjoy this unique, truly epic culinary experience! I don’t know how to really put this into words without sounding like a foodie nut… but I’ll just say it’s the most memorable food my taste buds have ever come across. I’ve had magical meals in my life—/ this one is of “Chef’s Table” caliber, and Paul deserves to be glorified and recognized for what he serves up on the daily! The highest quality seafood, beef, vegetables, soups, caviar…. Just pure divine and perfect ingredients that Paul adds his creativity and mastery to. You can feel his passion in each serving. I can’t even remember how many small plates he and his staff gave me, but by the time we reached the homemade pistachio ice cream then dipped into Italian caviar, I couldn’t handle much more because my heart and soul was filled to the rim with sheer pleasure and appreciation. Paul, you’re a rock star! You can be rude and disgusting to me anytime, just serve me some good eats! Ha! And for the record, Paul was awesome to talk to, share stories with and learn a glimmer of his world! A sincere thank you! And all your staff were wonderful, too! Excellent team!

This is an exceptional culinary delight. It is amazing to watch the chef as he works like an artist crafting exquisite, palate pleasing courses. Wonderful, warm, and welcoming service. This more than exceeded our expectations and we look forward to many more meals at Izakaya Three Fish!

I’ve adored every meal I’ve eaten here. For this price, it ought to be excellent and it absolutely is. The food is better than the best I’ve had at Michelin-starred restaurants.

Oh…if I could give you 10 stars and eat there M-F too! It is such a unique dining experience every time you can sit at this fine Omakase sushi bar. Be prepared to try things you may never have again–and in a way that you wish you could describe! Fabulous skills by Paul and Maddi–with a friendly, non-pretentious vibe. I can’t wait to sit down again! Worth it, IMO. But if you hate raw fish, dislike vegetables prepared in different ways, need a bunch of butter or only like red meat–this is not your jam…maybe just get a fabulous cocktail from Maddi and say…”no thank you?” I am sure there is some scalping going on behind the scene for seats there.. it is just that good!

What an experience. Pure heaven. So creative and perfect. For every momentous occasion in our life, this is where my husband and I go. He chided me for writing this, he doesn’t want reservations to be even more difficult to obtain.

Paul and Maddi serve from the heart, and you will feel this when you eat with them. Paul’s expertise, care, and passion for his craft are an inseparable part of his life. Saki be damned, I remember everything about my meal with them and it’s one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Buy a ticket, take the ride, trust them completely.

This place is the bees knees! My ex-girlfriend, CLARE, that posted that bad review down there is just mad that I dumped at dinner that night. I ordered the best bottle of sake, not spelled “saki”, to celebrate. Just because you can’t climax doesn’t mean you should leave a bad review. Check this place out. Paul and maddi are epic masters of their craft.

I laughed. I cried. Paul, Maddie, and literally EVERYONE at Izakaya were amazing! Time melted way as effortlessly as the fatty tuna. The nigiri was as thoughtful and well rounded as the bar service and conversation. Gochisousama! We will be back!
