First time visitor. I’ve never had a Reuben before and I’m not a fan of sauerkraut… but when I tell you I ate and left no crumbs! I got the full Reuben sandwich grilled and ate half there with the potatoe pancake and took the other half home and THOROUGHLY enjoyed it reheated in the air fryer. It was hot, flavorful, and delicious. The sauce is good on everything as well. And our server was amazing. Very kind and attentive.

This small Italian deli has a warm atmosphere. The place is clean and the staff inviting. There is a large variety of foods, which can also be tailored to your specific tastes. They gave men’s and women’s restrooms with wheelchair accessibility. My smoked turkey was doctors and the potato cake was crispy! The Reuben naked, that my friend had also looked tasty. Our server was on point and took great care of us.

I ate there today. The food was the best thing I’d eaten in a long time. The Reuben was amazing. I also love the potato cakes. What was really exceptional though, was the customer service. They seem to be operating with a full staff and everyone was super friendly and attentive to our needs. This is the first time I’d had this happen in awhile. Great job.

When we arrived, they were not busy at all. They only had one table seated but all of the other tables were empty. All 13-14 of the empty tables were dirty, so we ended up sitting at the only clean table we could find, which was configured to seat 7 though we only had 3. There were at least two employees sitting at the counter rolling silverware, but silverware won’t do much good if there are no clean tables to set it on. The food however was good, as usual.

It’s been many years since I’ve been to Izzy’s. The food and portion sizes were as good as I remembered, and they have expanded the menu with some great new items. I stuck with the reuben sandwich, which was very good. It comes with one of their delicious potato pancakes and a big bowl of pickles. The prices have gone up, which I’m okay with since the quality of the food is still high. Izzy’s still has the best corned beef sandwiches in the city. I’ll stop back again soon.

Had to share with my wife this Cincinnati iconic restaurant, and she and I weren’t disappointed . Service was awesome. Our Reubens were hot, fresh, and excellent, and the additional huge potato cakes topped this meal off! She loved it so much we went to another Izzy location the very next day!!!
