Great food & great service!! Potato cakes are amazing, not really greasy. Wife got the Thanksgiving on a roll but they made it in a wrap for her. The Pastrami Ruben was awesome!!! They offer a full kids menu & burger and sandwiches also. Not hard to get to from the interstate and worth the stop. It does rival Shapiro’s in Indy for quality.s

My wife and I stumbled across this place after we made a wrong turn on a pit stop heading south and oh my gosh… were we impressed!!! All you can eat pickles when you dine in, delicious potatoe cakes and a Rueben that was so fresh and delicious!!! And let’s not forget, the customer service here was above and beyond!!! Definitely check these guys out!!

Let’s not make this about their good food!! If you have the cleanest and nicest restrooms in the game, in my eyes, it speaks volumes about this restaurant! Honestly. Fast food isn’t known as the cleanest. And if your bathrooms are dirty( which is apart of your dinning room… Meaning you know your customers will be) imagine how it looks behind that service line where customers can’t see????

I’ve had Reuben sandwiches in restaurants across the country and I would have to admit that this is one of the better ones. The Izzy’s Famous Reuben was a good balance of sauerkraut, corned beef, and a light sauce. The sandwich was not soggy as Reubens often are. It came with a nice and crunchy portion of potato pancake. I love dill pickles so I was especially pleased to have a whole bowl of pickle slices which our family completely devoured. My wife enjoyed the chicken salad but was hoping to find some lettuce types other than head lettuce. Also, she would have liked to have found some gluten-free options on the menu. I also liked the large lemon slices provided upon request with our beverages. My suggestions are that Izzy’s consider the changes taking place in the restaurant industry and update their décor and update their menu but keep their commitment to quality and customer service.
