Dylan was a delightful server. The quality is top notch. They were very generous with the strawberries for my order of crepes, and the crepes were so substantial compared to other popular breakfast spots. The strawberries were so fresh and flavorful. Service was surprisingly quick, too. I really enjoyed looking at the the art while I ate. Can’t wait to visit again!

Great breakfast. Our service was amazing. I am not a big fan of flavored creamers and our server asked if I wanted some 1/2 and 1/2 which was great. My husband and son loved their food too. We will certainly go back!!

This is one of our favorite breakfast places in downtown Decatur. There is plenty of street parking which is conveniently connected to the ParkMobile app. There is also a parking garage that is a short walk from the restaurant. Management used to validate parking for this garage, but they stopped that a while back. This location has ample indoor seating and about 10 outdoor tables. We sat outside today, as we usually do, to enjoy the morning weather. Our server Stephani quickly checked on us and took our orders. She has helped us a few other times we have come for breakfast and she is consistently friendly and attentive. Stephani is a winner!! Our food came out quickly. My “Pantry’s Feast” looked a little sparse, but with the waffle I added it turned out to be just the right amount of food. Wifey loved her Maple Toast with bacon. The prices are very reasonable too, this place will not break the bank. The place is also dog friendly, there were at least 3 dogs sitting next to their owners in the outside seating area. FYI, I don’t know their policy with bringing your four legged buddies inside. Overall, we really like J. Christopher’s and it is on the rotation for a return visit.

Today was my first time visiting this place and I must say, I was very pleased. They were a little busy at arrival and allowed us to sit ourselves. That was plus because sometimes people are seated in places they don’t want to sit. We were greeted at the door, and our waitress came to the table to start our order immediately. Our food came out in a timely manner and everything was fresh. My potatoes seemed a little burnt but they were really good! The pancake was very fluffy that was a plus for me. I ordered a lemonade and that was the only thing I didn’t like about the breakfast.

The food was good, the service was subpar. The African American waitress(who never introduced herself) treated me as an after thought, but the customer who sat in the booth behind me was given great customer service. She even offered him a drink to go. She never did come back to my table after bringing me my check. I actually had to walk my check to Stephanie, who was in charge.

I ordered blueberry pancakes with granola. Underwhelming. I could have counted the blueberries on one hand and the amount of granola in my palm. To the waiter’s credit, the food was served hot. The issue was not enough butter, just 2 smaller balls. In my opinion, if I have to ask for extra this or that, it defeats the purpose. The restaurant was a far cry from crowded. I thought with downtown Decatur being the cool place it is, the place would be packed. Is it the food or the overpriced condos and no one has the extra money to eat out?

Wow! I was expecting typical cafe style food. Wrong. Very well made delightful strawberry crepes! The other plates at the table were quickly empty. Fast friendly service. Covered outdoor seating. Pet friendly. Everything we were looking for on a Saturday morning for breakfast.

We are in town dropping our daughter off for school. I just googled breakfast places, and found J Christophers. WOW! The food was sooo good, the service was terrific (I can’t remember our server, she was so sweet). I have already added this place on the restaurants not be missed on the schools parent FB page. *we love that they call the chocolate chip pancakes Chocolate Chipcakes 🙂
