I try not to give 1-star reviews to small, family businesses. After 2020, I understand it’s tough to get good help. We were just tourists passin’ thru on a Monday morning… hoping to find a gem of a roadside diner… this wasn’t it. Our breakfast did not look good, and did not taste good. And what’s up with all the old men hangin’ around? Do their wives kick them all out of their homes on Monday mornings?

We were traveling to St. Louis when we got a flat tire on I-40. The AAA driver that helped us recommended Sorrells Marathon, located next door, to get a new tire as it was the closest tire shop to us. We decided to eat lunch here while our tire was being replaced. What a wonderful restaurant. The burgers and fries were hot and delicious and the two ladies working were very friendly and helpful. Our experience here certainly helped ease an otherwise stressful day!
