I’ll start by saying that the Asian lady at the front with the ponytail is very rude. Not helpful. If you don’t know how to order a certain thing she belittles you like you’re dumb or something. As if you’re supposed to know the menu yourself. Second I’ve observed that she smiles, says hello, and thank you certain ethnicity’s. Third they got my order wrong and she seemed bothered that I stated that they were missing an ingredient in my order ( not even a sorry was said just “here.” The only good thing is that it’s priced fairly . Please don’t spend your money here. There’s a deli called village delicatessen up the block on Westbury Ave. Not only I’m I giving you a fair warning but also the rest of the reviews are as well

Great food and always super friendly service whenever I’ve been here! Highly recommended and wanted to specifically post because I couldn’t believe these recent reviews! It’s totally possible others had a bad experience but I’ve ordered here several times (over the phone/in person/I think doordash one time) and I’ve never had any issues, maybe I’ve been seeing a different “lady with ponytail” but she is always friendly and polite to me!

Will not be going back to this place! The lady that answered the phone was very impatient! The whole time rushing through my order and then hung up abruptly…so of course I didn’t get what I asked for. The bagel is more like a mini bagel and the bacon was undercooked and rubbery. I had to re-toast it when I got home. All around annoyed. I am just so tired of poor customer service. You get what you pay for so lesson learned! I will be going to a better bagel/deli next time!

The asian lady with the ponytail is extremely nasty and rude to customers. When I call to place my order she hangs up the phone in your face before you can complete your order. Sometimes she even throws the phone on the counter and leaves u while you are still talking and doesnt come back to the phone. I had to call back to continue. She has done this on 4 separate occasions. She answers the phone as if customers are bothering her. She is horrible. In person she gives the customers dirty looks when they are placing their orders or counting their change. She clearly hates her job! Not good customer service AT ALl you can taste her negative energy in the food. Horrible!!!

I absolutely love the food here and order all of the time, BUT….today, my order came to me incomplete via Grubhub. It was missing a bagel with butter and the straw to my juice came bent and broken. Upon calling the store, a woman came on the phone and said that it wasn’t her fault and of course, blamed it on the Grubhub driver. She would have sent me a replacement but when I asked for a new straw, she refused to put a straw in the bag!!! When I argued with her over a STRAW she refunded my bagel order all together and refused to deliver to me at all! So, for customer service, I give them only 1 star and no future orders from me. Sorry, J&J, but that’s bad customer service if I have to argue for a STRAW!

I really like this little deli and juice bar. My partner and I were greeted with a smile. We received friendly service, and the food (bagel and egg breakfast sandwiches + coffee) was fresh, nicely prepared and hit the spot. I’ve also had some very nice fresh juice blends here in the past. A clean and pleasant place for a quick, wholesome nosh.
