Solid Mexican food at good to great prices. Not the best in town, but still very good. They have all the classic options. One of the better places on the west side. They do get busy on the weekends so I’d plan accordingly by going early or calling ahead for take out. Nice servers.

Me and my mother enjoy coming here to eat Gorditas! They do a excellent job and the service is friendly. It makes me happy they keep it an authentic Mexican restaurant by severing horchata- my only suggestion is to season the rice with cumin & garnish the Gorditas with oregano for a flavorful kick. El flaco challenge! Las Gorditas were raisin plump, action packed with a beef and potato picadillo style filling and topped with fresh greens and shredded cheddar. Their signature featured menu item here. For over 4 generations now, JJ takes it home with great food and service. You can definitely bank that your family will finish their plates with ever breaking the bank!

Horrible food! We asked for a caldo de albóndigas… first plate out they gave me a caldo de res. Returned back and there was such a racket in the back kitchen trying to make the albóndigas. Returned with a COLD plate! Nasty taste; seemed this was week old leftover that was not even heated up. And mind you, we went around lunch time and there were hardly any people there, and they still took forever to serve our food!
