I’ve dined in J&J’s several times and have had carryout as well. The pizza was always good and as ordered. However this time I drove all the way from Hammond after calling for a stuffed sausage and mushroom pizza. What I got was what I describe as a “pizza sauce sandwich”! There was crumb of meat hither and you and a few mushrooms. There was at mushrooms in every slice but I can’t say the same for sausage. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! Can’t say I’ll return anytime soon!!!

Always get pizza and wings here. Sometimes you may have to wait a little longer but they seem to get a lot of carry out orders. If you don’t like something about the food just tell them how you want it. I love ’em. Hobart location has great pizza and wings. Kudos

Ordered carryout and got 2 pizzas, one deep dish style crust(which is where the ends are folded over) and one of their stuffed crust(which is where the pizza is covered by an entire layer of crust on top) They were both cooked perfect and tasted great.

Ordered a pizza and bread sticks. Pizza was average at best. Bread sticks are undercooked, raw, and not edible. And they look dirty. Poor quality compared to Lake Station and Portage. Only stopped here because I was in the area. Never again.

Went to pre order supreme party size pizza. Price was $30 more than posted. Worker politely explained they know prices here are wrong and have been waiting a good while for corrected info. They don’t even have currently printed menus. Said she understands prices at other J & J’s are lower and they are all independently owned. Unless pizza is substantially great, won’t return to this one.

They seemed shocked we wanted to sit in the dining room at 1 pm. Had to wait for him to put the chairs down. We were never offered a menu, we seated ourselves, they brought out the pizza and 2 paper plates. We had to find our own napkins, weren’t asked if we wanted cheese shakers or utensils. Pizza was awesome tho.

Paid $55 for pizza jalapeño poppers cream cheese fries & free 2 liter. Pizza burnt okay we were gonna deal but then jalapeño poppers were wrong & cheddar & also burnt. Called for meal replacement & asked for all new meal including 2 liter as we had already poured our cups. The manager made an issue about including the 2 liter after we just spent $55 & on top of that we buy nearly every week as it’s right down the street. Hit or miss.

The Hobart store closes at 11pm on Saturdays, not 1am as stated on their *current* menu. While “hours may vary by location”; one would still expect menus to be accurate to their respective locations. Google seems to be accurate, so perhaps someone was too cheap/lazy/disrespectful to update the menus. I will take my future business elsewhere. Over the top perhaps… but restaurants closing early happens to be my biggest pet peeve for numerous reasons.Hopefully this post is helpful to others.
