A Thursday Lunch, no one in the place, Gumbo only on weekends, no bread for Poboys, no Links. Catfish is awesome, small amount of food but low price. Charged for a refill of Lemonade.

Excellent food and service. Had the shrimp and collard greens, friend had catfish and red beans and rice. All seasoned and cooked perfectly, New Orleans style.Gumbo only on weekends so will be back for that. Definately recommend this place!

Ok so if you’re looking for some real authentic flavorful gumbo, this is the place to get it period! Like don’t even bother trying anywhere else, this is the place to go! Literally every spoonful felt like heaven in my mouth. My taste buds were deeply in love. and the French bread dipped in the rue, baaaaaby that alone is a meal. The perfect meal for a not to cool not too hot slightly sunny day. I love the entire vibe inside as well, the ambiance was the Cherry on top, i was taken to a different place as i was eating, a place of happiness and relaxation anyways I highly highly highly recommend ordering, I’ve tried gumbo at other locations but nothing compares. Im literally hooked lol once i took my first taste it was a wrap i couldn’t put my spoon down.

This place was alright, I ordered the shrimp plate, catfish plate, and rib tips. I was aggressively disappointed with the rib tips texture and flavor. Catfish and shrimp were cool. The side were cool too but idk if I’ll be back here anytime soon but I’ll be back. Maybe it was an off day. The service was fantastic! The older gentleman working was kind and sweet :).

Food was seasoned and flavorful. Got the gumbo and fried pork chop with gravy and carmelized onions. Place was clean and comfortable to sit in. Next time will try the ribs.
