Our Chinese family rarely eat at “Chinese”restaurants because a lot of them are Americanize versions of an authentic Chinese dish. We decided to try this place because we’ve heard about their authentic menu. Was skeptical at first but when the first dishes came out we were stunned at how it looked just like we’re eating out in China. Flavor was rich, fragrant, and unique flavors that we come to miss from home. Definitely recommend you choose from their authentic menu if you are curious of what true authentic Chinese dishes are like.

Good tasting food. I added some soy sauce to the hot & sour soup which really enhanced the flavor. The garlic chicken was delicious and very tasty! I also really liked their sweet & sour sauce they have on the table. Relaxing atmosphere with good and friendly service from the staff. I’ll be going back!

I saw this online theory that the best Chinese restaurants have a 3.7 rating and this one meets that. The places decor looks great. Like a proper Chinese restaurant should. The staff was great, very helpful and they got me the hot oil that I love. Best fried dumplings I’ve had! And everything else was great too. Soups were right. Usually that’s my qualm with Chinese places, but this did good. Even the white rice was perfect. My only guess with the bad reviews is, it’s a culture or bad day thing? Hope someone sees my review and finds their local favorite like I did.

Nice place very cozy quiet place. Welcoming and friendly staff ready to serve you. Great food and good price heaping portions. Awesome lunch specials. Was takin back for a moment I was like what here in New Braunfels tx . You’d expect this great of quality In bigger cities. The food was fresh and served within reasonable time for a sit down restaurant. Big flavor you can tell they put their heart and soul in there cooking to share with there customers go try when in New Braunfels after a day at the river or visiting.

First and foremost, the fact that there are 1 stars, is either overly inflated or they just have high expectations and want a 5 star restaurant. However, don’t let the looks fool you of this place. Food is absolutely amazing. I saw reviews talking bad about their sesame chicken, I got the exact same thing and it was top notch! Mind you, I as well have high expectations for food. Most complaints were from ordered food via delivery service. Not fair. Either eat there when food is fresh or pick up while it’s fresh. This store deserves better ratings from google. Best chinese food around new braunfels AND San Marcos. Heck even Kyle.

Have eaten here (takeout) a few times. Every time it’s great. Hot and sour soup is on point. All the chicken, pork, and beef dishes that I’ve had have been outstanding. I’m convinced this place is in the top 3 in New Braunfels.

I opted for carryout, so I won’t comment on the service, but the young lady at the register was incredibly polite. I ordered dumplings, sesame chicken, and beef broccoli, and the portions were impressively generous. I am highly satisfied that the takeout maintained its delightful taste. The story behind the restaurant’s name touches my heart, and I wholeheartedly intend to support our local small businesses.

I rarely leave reviews for places, especially negative one’s. But this is some of the worst chinese food i have ever experienced! The Sesame chicken that you can see in the attached photos is bland and mushy. The breading comes right off of the chicken. The hot and sour soup is the color of dirty dishwater and thats about how flavorful the soup tasted. There was literally water pooling in the bottom of the container for the chicken… which i am guessing came from the bland boiled broccoli that was placed on the bottom of the chicken. I used a delivery service and paid about 38$ for this and i am actually pretty mad about it.
