If you want to get food poisoning eat at this restaurant. I have been deathly ill for 24 hours vomiting all night losing 7 pounds. The food is never hot just warm. I should’ve known better. Never will go there again. I called and talked to Gordon the manager and he said what do you want me to do about it? I didn’t do anything to you. Sorry would have been a good start but he could care less. Until this place gets a new manager I would stay away

Kind of quick… Vegetarian is easy available, other stuff is somewhat starchy. Medium to expensive, my sister used to work there, and EVERY thing served was frozen. My advice? Try it out, see what you think. Oh, and service was excellent. Buffet style.

This place is a fave of mine. I love the roast beef, okra and mashed taters. The choices are great. The service is attentive. Try it once and you’ll be back. Being right across from the Asheville Airport makes it a great choice for Locals and Tourists alike.

I gave j&s 4 stars, but you just need to know what to expect. It IS a cafeteria – you walk down the line with your tray, select your dishes (prices marked) and the ladies serve you a plate. The selections are “classic” cafeteria fare and the pies looked impressive! I had fried chicken, spinach salad and sweet tea : $10. The crowd is a mix, but lots of senior folk. The staff is super super nice.

I really loved to eat here. I took my Mother here every week. We miss them. Are they going to open back up? I thought they were closed for remodeling only but it’s been a few months. ☹️Any word??? The food was always good and the staff was fantastic and it was so close to home.
