Good food and a friendly staff at this BBQ joint. The restaurant is small but clean and has a bar along one side. Parking is somewhat limited. We had the pulled pork nachos and the 3 meat combo meal with fries. Everything tasted good!

I visited the GastroPit for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon. They have outdoor seating, but I chose to eat inside. The restaurant is long and narrow with a windowed front, like many other strip mall businesses. Dark floor and ceiling with wooden tabletops – a comfortable vibe. It was reasonably busy, but there was plenty of room at the bar, which is where I sat. The bar seats about 8-10 people and has two TV’s. One had sports on, and the other had the Discovery Channel on – which I appreciated. The bartender and other staff member who was helping were particularly nice. Gracious. They made me feel welcome.

Did carry out for Fathers Day. We stopped by the day ahead. The owner was super helpful. The meats were all delicious. We had beans and mac and cheese as our sides and they complimented the meat nicely. The bbq sauces are very good as well. Will definitely be back!

Local BBQ joint in Ellisville, MO/western suburbs of StL! This Smoked Turkey+ Avocado sandwich was my entree this 3rd time I had visited, having ordered nachos and their BBQ Cuban the first two times. I am not any kind of BBQ connoisseur but the food offerings seem solid across the board, the staff has always been very friendly and helpful, and it has a nice small restaurant atmosphere– even after expanding a little bit at the end of ’22. Worth a stop!
