This is our favorite place in town. The service is amazing, and we love the intimacy of the seating. It’s nice to have an adults only place to go. The food and beer/wine menu is varied and interesting and you can get various cocktails too!

Stopped in here on a Friday night around 7 expecting the place to be crazy busy. Instead it was almost completely empty with only one table occupied and a person at the bar. Was politely told by the waitress that it’s adults only, so we had to take our kids and leave. Ok, it would have been nice to know that beforehand, but I can respect your policy. Of course, if I had a restaurant that was dead on a Friday night, I would probably change that policy to actually sell some food. . .

Intimate little spot that has a good variety of beer, cider, wine and offers a full bar. This evening Mr. Wonderful enjoyed the Zepplin Amber (54° 40’ Brewing Company, Lager-Amber) he throughly enjoyed it. I tried the Harvest Peach Cider (Outwest Ciders, sweet- cider). The Peach Cider was fresh, fruity and sweet, I would order it again. We ordered of the pretzel sticks and the carnivore pizza. The pretzels were a bit hard and the cheese sauce was cold. The pizza was tasty but the crust soggy. I brought it home to heat up in a frying pan as to crisp up the bottom. I appreciate the option of small plates when I order appetizers and/or pizza, which wasn’t offered here. Perhaps an oversight? Our server/bartender was running the show and did a excellent job. He was not only waiting tables (and it was busy) he was greeting folks as they entered, making drinks, pouring brews, running tabs and checking in on everyone in the establishment. Truthfully, he did a stellar job! The gentleman deserves recognition. We will most likely return but not on a Friday evening.

J Squared Barrel House has a beautiful atmosphere and a great place to meet for happy hour or dinner with the girls or date night. The foods are always delicious I love coming here when I visit Longview!

Great place! Little loud when occupied by more than a few people. Maybe add something to the walls absorb sound? Excellent wine and beer selection! The hummus plate was delicious!
