Try and Johnny are the owners. They know how to cook. We had ribs and a pulled pork sandwich with old school potato salad. Very good. It’s cozy and decorated perfectly. Check out this place you won’t be sorry.

Mixed feelings on this place. The food is good, better than average, but either they don’t have a scale or it’s not very calibrated. I nearly always order 2lbs of brisket to go, sometimes with other food, but always brisket, and 2 lbs of it. The problem is I never actually receive 2 lbs, or even close to it when I weigh it on my digital scale at home. 1 lb 10 oz, 1 lb 8 oz, 1 lb 6 oz, and today: 14.85 oz. Wow, not even 1 lb, although am charged for 2 lbs every time. Like the food here, just don’t know how to get what I order and pay for.

By far the best bbq place in lees burg and surrounding areas. Prices are reasonable and you feel so welcomed when you walk in. The greens and rutabagas are superb!!! The ribs melt in your mouth!!!! My family can’t get enough

We ate here last night and the BBQ is amazing. Mrs. T makes the sides herself. The ribs were fall of the bone good. The cole slaw is a little sweet without feeling overloaded. The baked beans were amazing as well. They serve the ribs on top of bread as a soaker so you don’t get the super greasy feel but they weren’t greasy to begin with anyway. It also came with a side of homemade Texas toast. She was so sweet too and checked on us regularly. This place is a hole in the wall with somewhat limited hours but DO go out of your way to eat here. The seating is limited but they also process to-go orders.

Omg , sweet people, small clean place . Ribs cooked to perfection, moist and tender. Homemade potato salad, sweet baked beans. Then there’s the collard greens….. spicy goodness.

The atmosphere was quite and awkward. Upon walking in and gazing at the menu I felt as if it would have been ruder to walk out so I stayed and ordered. Ribs were decent but it’s upsetting when your favorite sides aren’t even available. The yams flavor were on point the the texture was off almost as if they were old. Someone please tell that sweetheart at the counter to play some background music and to not wear slides to work. The sound of her slides while she walks along with the awkward silence is a dangerous combo. Won’t go back myself however this is just my experience.
