A must! Jack Rose is an experience. The interior is so beautiful! The artwork, the plant life, the colors- so inspiring. The drinks were lovely, well thought-out cocktail menu and nice presentation. Most importantly, the food was delicious! We had the calamari and kale Caesar to start. Best calamari I’ve ever had. Just the right amount of crunchiness and bite, the sauces it is served with are perfect. For main course we enjoyed the shrimp and grits off of the brunch menu and the lamb hash off of the special Easter menu. The shrimp and grits won out- absolutely delectable. I highly recommend Jack Rose for the experience. The hotel it is located also us a lovely interior with a great Bayou Bar inside, which I think shares the bar with Jack Rose. Cheers!

The food was great. The plates did feel a little too big for my preference but since when is that a bad complaint? I enjoyed the fish I was served. The pork belly appetizer was amazing, it was cooked to perfection. The service was relatively fast, and the Champagne bongs on the house were a nice touch. I quite enjoyed the dinner and the atmosphere surely made up for it. The artwork is very impressive and something to take a look at yourself. If you have the time, I recommend making a stop at Jack Rose.

Almost every dish I tried has been super yummy. Some of my favorites include their steak, pork belly, octopus and chicken and waffle. I’d also suggest leave some space for dessert bc their profiteroles are one of the best I’ve ever had.

This place is like a gallery and so beautifully designed. All of the paints are great for photo op. I had the scallops and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. The service was pretty good and the staff even helped take pictures. I really enjoyed that they have music playing in the background with makes it more fun and relaxed atmosphere.

We went for a bachelorette a couple of weeks ago and everything about this place is a 10/10. The food was amazing the flavors were so fresh and clean on the palette. My favorite was the chicken parm that was bone in fried chicken !! So juicy and delicious. Great place to take photos and videos!!

This is a must go to if you’re in Nola for any time whatsoever. Stop looking, go now. The Duck Andouiile Gumbo was a thick brown roux. They bake the flour first. Expect a slow burn, then fire in your throat. Made me sweat in the best way.

We decided to have dinner here based on the history of the restaurant. It is beautiful although starting to show age. The website says gentlemen must wear jackets so you expect a very elegant evening to match the expense. This is really misleading, almost no men had jackets, men and women were wearing denim. Even our waitress was wearing stretch jeans. The service was quick and efficient as we had a reservation. Reservations are required but this is also misleading as they aren’t very busy. The menu selection was very limited and we found the food to be average at best. In summary, we wished we had visited to take pictures and spend the $150 for dinner elsewhere.

Stunning food, interior, service, and great wine selection. The flounder I ordered was perfectly cooked and presented impressively in a paper bag that the waiter cut open in front of me so no heat escaped the fish while en route to my plate. It practically melted in my mouth with a soft buttery flavor, and potatoes and carrots that complemented the fish. Beautiful dinner and ambience.

I really enjoyed this restaurant! It was a birthday brunch so we got to try a lot of different things on the menu and everything we had was fantastic! I was mostly surprised by the brown bag fish. It didn’t look like much but the taste was phenomenal! The pork belly basically melted in my mouth! Be sure to make reservations and give yourself extra time to find somewhere to park.
