That’s a lot of food for $5 Mom and I opened up Jackee’s Cafe not only because my mother is an AMAZING cook, more so because we wanted to offer something special to our community. We are a minority, woman-owned small business who cater to a diverse community. Come in and enjoy the food but more importantly get to know us! Found a gem of a restaurant in Coram! The taste of the food is amazing here. You get all the classic Jamaican food here to dine in or to go. It seems like a family joint, Jackee with her nephew and niece running the show here. The curry goat is to die for if you have Indian taste buds. I encourage every Indian going to BNL or SBU to try this place for their non veg curries! It’s mouthwateringly good. Had the curry goat entree and roti goat. The food was so good we took home their curry chicken too to try. Will return for more for sure!

Got a med oxtails rice and peas and 2 drinks… $35. The guy was nice place was clean, but the food was very very bland. The rice was even bland. No island flavor. It’s a bodega next door they have oxtails too. Or the Caribbean spot down the road. Not going back

Hands down THE BEST oxtail i have had in my life. Cooked perfectly with so much flavor and is fall off the bone tender. Stopped here on my lunch break and it was the best decision. I also got the mild beef patty and it was fantastic, i have had a lot of beef patties and this one is the most authentic. Great food and great vibes inside. I will be returning again for this oxtail!

The stew chicken wasn’t as flavorful as I would have liked, the sauce was a little too sweet for stew chicken, and the rice gave me Uncle Ben’s feel. The carrot punch is good, but all together for a medium stew chicken and white rice and a 16oz carrot punch it was $19 smh I’m scared to know what each items price is individually. I still tipped cause the service was good.

Catered a party from Jackees’s everything was beyond amazing!! Food was delicious! Oxtail was juicy, stew Chicken was tender and flavorful, the Rasta pasta was Cooked perfectly and had just the right amount of spice! Would 100% recommend and cater from Jackee’s again, They were very accommodating, food was the perfect temperature when we picked it up, and the Staff was beyond helpful!

Large Ox tail was tasty and had good amount of meat for the price I feel. The cabbage wasn’t for me, it’s crunchy, however my friend enjoyed it. The rice and beans were good with the ox tail sauce.

10/10 Recommend every time! Ive been here 5 times and I can’t get enough. Just came home from North Carolina and it was my first food stop!!(: The ox tail is so juicy and tender falls right off the bone. I’m so upset I wasted my money here.. Med Oxtail with 4 oxtails which was not good at all, a whole tray of rice & beans which was bland no taste, veggies forget about it … Plantains was ok can’t mess them up. Let’s just say I won’t be back.
