I have given this Jack’s so many chances and they can’t ever get it right. I e ordered a cheeseburger just to get home and find there is no cheese on the burger. I’ve ordered and been told to pull forward after paying only for them to forget to even make my food. After 15 minutes I walked in and the girl literally said “I forgot to drop your chicken” as she ran to the back when there was no customers in the store. And now I ask for 2 extra honey mustards because the half full one they give you is never enough only to be given 2 cups that are only 1/4 full. It honestly looks like they saved used ones and are giving them back out in the drive thru. Go to Slim chickens or Chick-fil-A instead.

Food was pretty good but dined in and they need to take a step back and look at their building. All of the ceiling tiles on the dining area are discolored and molded, one of the ladies stalls won’t lock, and one of the sinks in the ladies room had broken piping sticking out. I used to work for Jack’s and was proud to work there, but the one in Athens needs some work.

Let me be very VERY clear, the five stars are for the AWESOME lady working up front, Gracie, and NOT for the establishment itself. She was expertly handling an extremely busy lunch rush and that’s a lot in a fast food place. She had all the southern hospitality and charm that you’d expect from a mom and pops diner server. She maintained a calm and kind attitude the entire time I observed her working.

Stopped in jacks today and I would like to say zack/Zach/Zac however you spell his name at the front counter deserves a raise , upstanding customer service, very polite , professional and friendly! I hadn’t been to this location in a while due to bad service & gave it a try again today and I’m glad I did !!! Thank you for all the hard work young man!!! The Jacks in Athens Alabama is like a well-oiled machine. The food is always fresh, the line is never backed up in the Drive-Thru and if you need something to eat and you don’t want to worry about being late for work waiting on a drive-thru that’s the place to go.

We always stop at a Jack’s when we travel through Alabama, it’s our favorite fast food place. The burgers taste homemade and the fries and shakes are great too. This location was a bit slow on service but, the staff was really friendly. Get the spicy double jack if you’re a jalapeno fan.
