Today was the first day my kids tried Jacks. I had been telling them how delicious the chicken tenders were for awhile now. I surprised them with lunch there today and they’re reaction was the same as the first time I tried the chicken tenders. They said it tasted like heaven. My youngest daughter is beyond picky when it comes to food but she couldn’t get enough of this place. We will definitely be returning many more times.

This was our first time trying Jack’s. We had our order delivered. It was absolutely delicious. It arrived hot and reminded us of a home cooked chicken dinner. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

The reason this is now 5s is because when it would have been a 1 I took the order back up there to be corrected. Not only was the manager so courteous and the employees as well but the restaurant is immaculate! Thank you for having not only a great personality but also putting exceptional care in how you keep your establishment

We had Sunday late lunch here. Manager walks around like he’s King but should have been helping out. Very poorly run. Chicken tasted like it had been under heat lamp too long. Dry & not fresh. Cole slaw was warm and gross, mashed potatoes were not hot & gravy wasn’t either. Manager didn’t want to hear it. He walked out the store.

I wrote a review a week ago about this location. Te owners responded and gave me a website to take my complaints to. I followed through, and have had no response. Crickets. What’s awful is that the corporate office has chosen to “Not Respond” also.

Went to Jacks in Ooltowa, TN. There were people eating inside, but all of the doors were locked. I walked up to the drive thru window and asked why they were closed for inside eating. I was told that they were short of staff.

Since the new manager took over from Christopher, this place went in the toilet fast. I have witnessed first hand his unsanitary methods. He doesn’t work well with local regulars or new guests. I have waited to change my 5 star but this weekend made me rethink that. He took food off my tray, not knowing who touched it & put it back in service to be re-served to the next customer. Disgusting! I care about this store & its employees but this dude is going to make people sick! This is my first negative review for a Jacks restaurant, so I’m very confused as to how he made it to manager.

I walked in, and everyone had smiles and laughter in the air. Fantastic experience. The food was great, but the people here are worth coming back time and time again. Love this place.

Upon entering the building, most of the employees were yelling at each other. When the cashier approached the register she said “what you want?” This is maybe my 4th time at this establishment, so I stood aside trying to figure out my order first and she said “what you gone want? You want chicken strips or chicken?” I felt like she was rushing me to order, but I ordered the 10 piece chicken with 2 sides, biscuits, and 2 large drinks. When a white patron came in and rejoiced of the glory years of the 1960s and eating at Jack’s, the same rude cashier miraculously became polite. She gave him his order, while I was still waiting for mine and she proceeded to have an argument with the manager about placing chicken in the corner of a drawer and other employees agreed with her as one of them was holding a bag with my order in it. Instead of giving me my order, they continued the conversation. I was on the way to work and didn’t have time for this, but they finally gave me my order and when I got to work, I discovered that I was given 8 pieces, instead of 10 and when I called the store, a regular employee answered and lied by saying she was a manager. She said she could only give me the 2 pieces of chicken. But this would not suffice for my gas being wasted and the fact that I was already at work. Unable to comprehend that simply giving me 2 pieces was not enough, she finally gave the phone to a manager and he said he could give me 2 pieces. I explained the same thing to him and he said “well I can just give you 2 sides.” But I would still be forced to waste gas and time, plus I still didn’t have my correct order because of their mistake. He said “well look, I’m not gonna replace your whole 10 piece. That is definitely not going to happen.” I explained that he was being inconsiderate to my time and gas and he said “bring the order back and you can get a full refund and that’s your gas money.” I left work again to take the food back and the cashier took the food in front of customers and threw it away in the trash and I received my money back. The manager said he would rather get a void than to correct the issue. All he had to do was refund me my money and allow me to keep the order, but he could not comprehend that and even asked me what I wanted. He should have tried to make the customer happy to ensure I return bynletting me keep the chicken, if he was going to throw it away. As a manager, you should have common sense on how to deal with mistakes and he nor his staff should treat fellow African Americans or anyone differently. The way they treat white customers versus people of color is different and should not be tolerated. I could go to KFC, Popeyes, Bojangles, or Church’s or a gas station and receive better service.

Food was cold, not made right, the guy was unapologetic over it. I got it back now everything is cold, the blond manager is out smoking or on her phone, they are short staffed and the ones there don’t greet you or thank you for coming, the place is messy,no tea on the counter you have to ask at the counter they fill it barely and add no ice saying here you go. You need people who care about their job enough to be kind. You also changed the news channel to fake NBC that was racial dividing kids in college. Now my husband doesn’t want us to ever go back to Lee hwy Jacks.
