Placed and paid for my to go order then I was told it would be 6 minutes for the pies. The person behind the counter (not the cashier) knew they were out (they were busy talking and playing). She asked if I wanted to wait and I replied sure they are paid for. I waited and saw pies come up. No one said anything to me, so I asked the manager for my pies as he was changing out registers. He said I had to wait 10 minutes after they came up. (So a total of 16 minutes!) I told him your worker told me they would be ready in 6 minutes and he said ok. Then he asked for the pies. They didn’t say a word to him as he went back to the office. The worker told me they put the wrong pies down. Not an apology or are you willing to wait…nothing!! So I asked to see the manager again and asked for a refund. I told him what took place and he wasn’t concerned at all. His demeanor told me he was afraid to say anything to his workers as he whispered to me “I’m sorry even if no one else said it.”

While standing in line. We noticed the guy in front of us was laughing and joking with the girl behind the counter. He was also telling her to put extra things in his to-go-bag. She readily complied at no extra charge.

Trust me, just go somewhere on North Hills Street because their service is DEPLORABLE! I asked for them to give me the condiments on the side of my burger. The young lady taking my order in turn asked me if I wanted it undressed. I responded by saying “Yes, no condiments.” Once I got to the window, for the sake of clarity, I told the young man at the window that I want tomatoes, onions, and lettuce on the burger. However, I simply want the condiments on the side. With a straight face, he acknowledged my wishes. However, he left the window open and began speaking with his coworkers about it. Trust me, to say the least, what they were saying about me and the exchange was not conducive to establishing a great customer experience. After all of this occurred, I STILL DID NOT HAVE lettuce, tomatoes, and onions on the burger. Listening and consideration are learned skills. Also, the food isn’t very good.

5/1/2023 – Stood at the counter in lobby 15 minutes waiting for someone to take my order. Cashiers just walking by with no eye contact, focusing on drive-thru orders only. I could not waste any more time so I left the establishment.

First time ever coming here since Jack’s been in meridian and when I finally go there Jack’s has the RUDIEST PEOPLE WORKING THE DRIVE THRU. If yall want people to keep coming Jack’s in meridian need BETTER WORKERS. THEY ARE SAD AND PATHETIC. I WILL NEVER GO BACK EVER AGAIN. Friday night at 7:30 trying to come & get food but the doors were locked . There was a bunch of us standing outside the girl came unlocked the door told us the lobby is closed but let the girls standing there in to order because they are friends with somebody inside as I was turned away . This WAS a regular place myself & wife eat weekly but now you won’t see us anytime soon . 3 stars is being real nice right now definitely not how I was treated . Next review will be on Yelp , the meridian star & other social media . Oh & if you call they hang up repeatedly. Not professional at all
