I’ve probably driven past this restaurant about 100x and something made check it out on this particular day. Best decision I ever made, their food is absolutely amazing and reasonable prices. My girlfriend and I started off with the crab cake and calamari appetizer and when I say I do not like calamari but I ate it this day. It was made to perfection! And it was a good portion to the point where by the time my food actually came out I was only able to take a couple of bites before I was full. It definitely tasted even better the next day. Looking forward to coming back, at this point I want to try everything on the menu.

I dined in last week and there was only 2 people inside . It was off hours . The waitress was very nice told her it was my first time and she recommended the clam chowder and lobster roll . So that’s what I did the soup was very tasty only thing was only a few chopped clams mostly potatoes. The Connecticut state a lobster roll was overcooked ! Some pieces of the lobster were ok and others were dried out. I eat seafood 6 days a week and I’m addicted ! I just moved to the area so will give it another try , but different menu items .

Lot in the back plus street parking, outside and two floors inside for seating. I had a yelp event here and they compd a lobster roll, which I have to say was pretty good, Maine style, lots of lobster, not too much mayo and the right kind of bread, not a poor hot dog bun like some others.

Great fresh seafood in a place you wouldn’t think to find seafood. Lobster was fresh and tasty. Sweet, as it should be. The chowder was pretty good as well. It’s BYO so come ready for a good night

These were really flavorful. However they are way overpriced and not worth the 30 mins plus drive nor the $20 plus dollars. Would not recommend unless they charge less or add more to the $20 charge like a side. 03/20/23 Response to owner: $20 is too much for the lobster roll by just itself based on the size of the roll so yes! Otherwise add a side to the dish for it to make sense. In the West they are cheaper and you get more.

My sister took me out for my birthday lunch today…Had not been here before.. but it is now my go to place…everything was amazing…fried clams appetizer was so lightly battered and cooked to perfection… the lobster platter was awesome and the homemade potato chips were still warm and delicious!!! My son got the 3 sliders which he loved.. I got the shrimp po boy and it was incredible!!! So many shrimp cooked to perfection … everything was just perfect!!! Can’t wait to go back… even though we arrived a little after lunch I was surprised it wasn’t busy…our new go to lunch spot!!! Kudos!!!

I had the best shrimp tacos. The food, music, delicate mocktail and friendly service was simple and exquisite at the same time. I think this place is very understated and perhaps suffers from its location. I’ll be back and tell my friends to give it a try. It’s not a dirty shack. It’s fine cuisine for a good price!

Was looking for lobster rolls and came across Jack’s. Based on positive reviews, Jack’s seemed to be the place to go. Took advantage of the online ordering. Was limited to pick up time of on the hour or half hour, so picked a 12:30 pick up during lunch. I actually needed a 12:45 pick up and called after placing the order and my later pick up was honored with no issue. Order two lobster roll platters, one with regular fries ($2 additional) and the other with sweet potato fries ($ additional). When I arrived, I was a few minutes early from. My 12:45 pick up request, and was happy my order was not ready ans was being prepared. At 12:45, my meal came out as requested. Whenever ordering fries to go, it al always a gamble whether they are packaged correctly. When I arrived to my lunch location 15 minutes away, I was happy to vent hole in the platter. When we ate them, they were still warm and crispy which is not common when taking out fries. The lobster roll, Maine (cold and woth Mayo) was also tasty with good sized chunks of lobster. Lucked put with parking in front of the store, but did see signs that there was additional parking in the rear. Overall a great dinning location with ease of ordering, great a t customer service, and good food. Will definitely head back and even consider other meal options in the future.

Decided to visit for lunch overall my experience wasn’t bad. My father got the lobster roll and said it was good (8/10). I was in the mood for pasta so I went with the Lobster Fettuccine Alfredo and was disappointed but I will say the pasta itself was cooked well. The sauce was bland for my taste and the lobster was rubbery. The French fries didn’t disappoint. I will say that the service was nice our waitress was friendly and so was the manager. I would come back but try something else to get a better opinion.

Food was decent enough, but the prices were very high, too high considering the quality and quantity of what you are getting. The mocktails were a joke and an embarrassing menu item for the restaurant. To charge $11 for a non-alcoholic drink and barely make any effort to make the drink look and taste good is a mistake on the part of the restaurant. The chowders were more heavy cream than seafood. Not sure we will be back as the prices are just too high for what you are getting.
