Pretty disappointed, I have been coming here for years now. Always enjoyed the the pizza. Tonight we drove to Alton to pick up a pizza we ordered. Get home to find that the pizza was burnt(overcooked). I called back to let them know and was very quickly told I was wrong. “The pizza was a little on the brown side but that it wasn’t burned” She was aware of the condition the pizza but she let it go. She obviously knew there was something wrong or that there was a possibility that the customer might have an issue because she knew exactly what pizza I was referring to. I was very annoyed at her initial defensive tone and insisting I was wrong. If I’m going to pay almost 15 dollars for a pizza, I would like it to be cooked to my satisfaction and not look like a frozen pizza I left in the oven too long. I understand you are not going to be perfect every time.

Called at 6:56 when the close at 7:30, and was told they stop taking orders at 7:00 so they won’t be taking my order. (Even though it’s technically not even 7:00 yet). Maybe you should list your closing hours as 7:00 if you stop taking orders at 7:00. I was a regular customer here. Now I no longer will be. I was counting on you for dinner tonight, and you let me down. Not cool Jacks.

Jacks offers another great pizza option in town. Sometimes the cook on the pizza can be hit and miss. I order my pizza to be cooked well done with golden brown cheese. I love the enthusiasm of Jack on the phone and the service at the counter. Good dough and sauce. Love how large the pizzas are. Their weekly deals are a big bonus! Love the way they operate the culture of their business.

This is honestly some of the best pizza you can get in the state as far as I’m concerned. The prices are very reasonable, there is a pie for everyone, and I haven’t found a place that does larger than their 16” larges. Both locations in Alton and Pittsfield are staffed by excellent employees, I cannot recommend this pizzeria highly enough. If you get one pie to determine their capability, I recommend the Greek with white sauce. The entire pizza just sings and you will absolutely be back for more. Jack’s is phenomenal and I cannot sing praise highly enough for them.;

THE BEST PIZZA I’VE EVER HAD WAS FROM A GAS STATION…Well to be fair, Jack’s in Pittsfield is also amazing, but it’s a bit far from my home so by the time I get home from picking it up it’s not as hot as I’d like it, but these guys and gals are slingin’ legit pizza out of the corner of a gas station convenience store.

We loved jacks, and order from them often. However after last night, I will NEVER order from them again!! I called to place an order and before I could say anything i was immediately put on hold (totally fine with me) was on hold for 6 minutes and had to hang up for a second and called them back. The person who answered the phone again did not let me speak and proceeded to say ” I can’t take any orders until I make the orders I already have, so I guess I’m not taking your call ! ” AND THEN HUNG UP ON ME!!! so we took our business to Alton village pizza who were happy to take our order. We will be ordering from them from now on. I understand you were probably busy, and I would have waited as long as it took for you to make our food, but your rudeness, was totally uncalled for!
