My husband and I move around a lot, different cities and different states, and we appreciate the variety that Jade Garden has. While I know a lot of it is catered to local taste, it is still wholesome and sticks to the ribs. Love the dim sum options and the apps are delicious. Haven’t dined here in person, always take out, but I have a memory of a power outage in 2021 where we had someone deliver food up to a darkened house (see candles and lightsaber chopsticks) and god do we love you. That’s service. We will miss you and we are headed to rural Virginia where we will have to learn to make our own shumai.

I took a chance on this place because they say the worst looking places in the worst areas have the best food. Not in this case. I ordered the fried mandarin chicken wings and white rice. The skin of the wings were so thick and fragile. The flavor was bland as ever. I’ve never had worse fried chicken, it was so memorably bad.

Easily the BEST dim sum in the area! The Shui Mai, Potstickers, and pan fried buns are to die for. Can’t believe anyone would give it less than 5 stars. You will not regret trying this place. It’s my new favorite find!
