1st time I’ve been here since 1988 I don’t think a single thing has changed in all that time. Really, nothing. Menu items, menu paper? Paint on the wall? This place is a time capsule. Anyhow the egg rolls are just outstanding. I had pressed chicken which I remembered ordering in the 80’s. Still good. The orange chicken left somethings to be desired.

Staff not super friendly, general chicken was not good at all. Egg Rolls were good, but not enough to bring me back. 6yr old wanted chicken nuggets and fries because she isn’t an Asian food fan. We called and asked if they had them before hand and were told yes. We ordered and she comes back with sweet n sour chicken basically tempra chicken. My daughter did not like it to say the least and we were charged $8.50 for it. This used to be the best place for Chinese food on the planet but egg rolls are not enough to carry a restaurant. I was shocked that it was lunch time on a Monday and my family and two other gentleman were the only customers in there. I can see why now. The waitress was clearing the table with us eating, and asked me for the credit receipt back before we were ready to leave. I didn’t leave a large tip but I left one none the less. She grabbed it and walked off I guess because she wasn’t pleased. I know she studied it for a few seconds…I was being nice considering the less than friendly staff.

What do I even really say. This place has a unique vibe some of the staff are very friendly and the person who sometimes is at the front is also very sweet. I have gone a couple time here throughout the years every time I visit. Something needs to change though. This place has a lot of potential.

Have been going here since the 79’s when they opened. Has always been the favorite for bbq pork slices, ribs, egg rolls and wonton. Our favorite chef left years ago, food did change a little then, but is still good and our family go to for 3 generations and starting on the 4th. Have had many celebrations there.

I hadn’t been to since before the pandemic Jade Palace Chinese Restaurant. I ordered the Chicken n Broccoli plate that came with rice, won ton soup and an egg roll. When the waitress who’s Chinese brought the food out I saw the egg roll and I remarked to her that I had never seen such a Big Egg Roll before. She then looks me straight in eye and says “It’s a Burrito”! I almost fell over laughing! Great service and delicious food!

Shrimp and fried rice was very dry and no flavor. Home made egg rolls were very good. Drinks were can soda with cup of ice. Not a real big place and there are no windows which seemed strange. Have driven by here many times and always a good amount of car outside so we thought we would stop and eat. Wasn’t terrible but will keep on passing it from now on.

The food was terrible and cheap tasting. The atmosphere was no better. The menu was so old looking that the photos of the food were faded and unappealing to look at. My huge egg roll was undercooked and doughy and under seasoned. The fried shrimp was fair but unfortunately my can of coke was the best thing I had.

The lady that took my order was very rude. She has been this way for a long time. She acts as if she dislikes people of color. When I visited the restaurant to pick up my phone order, other people walked in, placed their order and received their food. I was the last person to get my order. While waiting, the lady told the other customers it would be just a few minutes longer. She never acknowledged me. I would love to be treated like she would want to be treated if she visited a restaurant. POOR SERVICE, GREAT FOOD!!!!!
