Authentic Chinese food that reminds me of home. The owner is very nice and has supported our sorority’s charity ball many times. They have been renovating and only offering takeout and delivery. If you are looking for some authentic Chinese food, I recommend ordering the dishes with Chinese name on the menu.

Mapo pork and tofu had a miniscule amount of pork in it. White rice was stale. Coriander noodles were dry with not enough sauce to flavor them. I’ve had both of these before and they were good, although definitely not as good as Red Pepper was before they closed. Pork Belly appetizer was dry, rubbery and inedible. Spring rolls were decent, but nothing special. Just very disappointing! I can make these dishes at home and they are much better.

One of the best restaurants in Chapel Hill. I get delivery from here regularly and it always arrives quickly and piping hot. I recommend the cheese Rangoons and general tsos chicken. It’s everything you want in a Chinese restaurant and more. Good prices, quick service, consistently delicious. Eat here!

What it is Google. Had a quick lunch special today here and it was great. The service was okay – the waiter was definitely busy, serving multiple tables at once, so they took a while to come back. The food was great though. Highly recommend the General Tso’s lunch special – ask for “more spicy.” Ahh. Their egg drop soup was great too. Can’t beat their lunch special (11AM-3PM) for $7.50 – they have lots of other options too!

The sesame “chicken” was some chicken chunks, but also chicken-sized lumps of dough. I’m perplexed. Is this an inflation thing? They also forgot the lo-mein in our order. Lastly, we ordered spicy but the food was blander than what we can cook at home

This is most authentic Chinese restaurant around Chapel Hill and Carborro. I started to order when I was a freshman. Right now, after 3 years, I am stilled amazed how delicious dishes are. My Chinese friends liked to have hot pot there before. They told me jade palace’s hot pot is like comforting food for them. Also, the lady worked there is really nice.

Tried the hot pot here. Not bad for all you can eat. Flavor is not absolutely best but since it’s a 20 dollar meal can’t really complain about that. Had the bok choy and black bean fish as well. The flavor tends to be pretty heavy in general and I would really appreciate less strong sauces. Portion size are very large and every dish is very filling. Delivery is pretty fast and stuff are very welcoming.
