This. Restaurants like this give revive my soul. I don’t need anything fancy. I just want a taste of home, straight from the firey breath of a decades-old wok. This is the kind of mom and pop shop that makes LA so exciting—a place that maintains their recipes over the years and customers know exactly what to expect. The food comes out fast, we ordered 4 dishes between 3 people and we were so full. These are the only four dishes you need: Shanghai style pork ribs, honey walnut shrimp, string beans, and the house special tofu. They got lots of parking in the back too.

This place is a diamond in the rough…in China town right across from where Bruce Lee’s dojo used to be many yrs ago. The waitress was very sweet and Accommodating. The price was not expensive at all. All That food was maybe 65.00 plus 15.00 tip. Foor was great and of course had to have My favorite Thai tea.

A gem. So grateful the OG ladies in my class shared their love for Jade Wok. “House made best tofu in town” w sauce & bits of pork, over rice . Garlic string beans. Sesame chicken. Eggplant. Chow fun. Bring a big group so you can try all the deliciousness! Some parking in back.
